do you believe in fate?

throughout my life I've noticed little coincidences do you think that's all they are or something more?

I've also noticed little coincidences.
Fate is something I'm unsure on. I do think that things always seem to find a way of working themselves out.
I've learned not to worry about things I can't change, something I learned after joining this forum.

I don't like to think that fate exists, because I would feel I don't have choice in my life. I also don't believe in any God or any higher power. But if I do something bad I do sometimes worry about bad karma biting me in the ass.

I think the saying "what goes around comes around" is quite true. And it is often too late before you realise this.

Jung thought there was some inter-connective framework going on between mind and reality. Lot's of spiritual traditions imply as much. My rational mind wants to isolate it as co-incidence and imply I'm daft for transposing meaning onto it. I don't care though, I still think there is something going on we don't remotely understand. I suspect self improvement addicts tend to get more of this intuition than most. Are things pre-determined...I have no idea, I hope not as it sounds fatalistic and lazy.

Is this topic off?

I decided it was on topic cos often when choosing a long term partner the fate bit would play a part.

yes that is the context I'm referring to

I take it this is what your actually referring to?

Synchronicity

The mind fuck is you can create these yourself.
