Ok so to set the scene you are in the supermarket-- its busy
you walk up to the empyiest til and start unloading your food, you walk past the checkout girl and glance up at her and OMG shes hot! ok she has a dead end job but she is HOT
she starts firing your stuff at you which you start to bag up, another person is now in the queue behind you and you estimate within another 30 seconds you will be walking away.

you catch eye contact with her a couple of times and she smiles at you.

How do you go from here to exchanging numbers within 30 seconds without being weird?

My mind sees it maybe like this:

Me: ouch, your cute...........but looking bored
Her: hehe definately bored
Me: I can change that (writes my number down on a piece of paper and hands it over with the name 'Hot checkout guy'

is that creepy?-- how would you guys approach it?

this situation can happen anywhere not just the supermarket-- being served in any shop, in clothes shops hell-- maybe even Mcdonalds drive through

I did the same thing at check out once.

We were flirting as such like we'd done before, then the conversation went like this..

Me: So what you doing for bon fire night?

Her: Oh I dont know no ones invited me anywhere.

Me: (taking the hint) Why dont you come round to mine theres a little houseparty going on

Her: Ok cool, where is it?

Me: just round the corner, i'll give my number

Her: Ok cool, can I bring my Husband?

Nowt creepy about asking a girl for her number. All I'd say is try not to predict the conversation like this angling for a cheesy line. Try it out a few times and see how you get on.

I dont actually think you can ask a girl for her telephone number in a shop/asda whatever-- she`ll get the sack if she gives you it and is seen. thats why i said i would write mine down on a paper and give it her

Really? This is a rule that is adhered to in all shops? How about trying it out instead of assuming. Give her the paper and get her to write it down if you think it's a big issue.

I like this, no chance of rejection and the balls in her court whether or not to contact you. If done with total confidence it can be pulled off no problem without any chance of scaring her. You’re creating a serendipitous moment, like in the films that all women want.
As long as you come across as high value then she will defo, at least text you. The fact you got the balls to do that shows your high value as a low value male would never have the courage to do it.
If you’re having doubt if this will come across creepy or not, simply solution:
You could always right on the paper "the creepy checkout guy".

Not what you do but how you do it. This can easily be a serendipitous moment... maybe not to you, but to the cute girl behind the cashier whos pissed of with her shitty job. Again only if pulled off right. We should all have the attitute that we create serendipitous moments in peoples lives.

This to me suggests showing her lack of balls, as you are demonstrating to her that you fear her saying no. Hardly a 'film moment' is it? Having said that I am sometimes dissapointed with these film moments as the girl is often giving the guy a helping hand.
