North West Filming
 

Hi,

I'm looking for a couple of people to potentially film for a radio documentary about the art of seduction. In this documentary I will be meeting a number of PUA's and seeing what they do, and also find out how and why they got into it in the first place. I'd preferablly like to do the filming in Manchester, though anywhere in the North West will be fine. Ideally anytime in April and beginning of May will be good for me, and I will only need to film for about half an hour so I dont get in the way of your night ;).

Is this station sponsored or stand alone to be sold onto networks? If this is station sponsored then what station is this for and under what radio host's show would it go out on?

Opportunity here to steer things away from the routine pseudo science stuff and influence people in a positive way.. Why send them off to people and enable perpetuation of the problem you dislike?

Interest in all things goes up and down regularly based on time of year and whether it's been out of favour for a while.

April/May were always the largest selling months for products at my old company, sales would be double in these months compared to other times of year. I've noticed a significant increase in relationship type councillors and sex type coaches on talk shows this last month too. Could be indicative of a larger movement occurring again, it depends on what influences occur in the end though.

No harm in trying to influence it in a new direction opposed to the same old hat.

Pfft, why do these project folk think people wanna be on TV and radio so badly? Some scrounger approached me once and asked me to do something similar (not about pickup), I asked what it paid and he got this confused look on his face like I should tickle his balls just for the chance to be on telly. I don't get it, pay me for my inconvenience or piss off.

That's true. I'd be interested in it for potential exposure as well as other reasons I mentioned, dependent on the research of the sources first. I was merely saying that as someone with no business interest in such a thing you're in a position to lend weight to the argument against the typical practices that started the industry and influence people towards what you believe.

Your lack of bias gives you far more strength in that area than I. I'm not arguing for you to do it for any business reason, I'm arguing for your interest in it merely for your own influential reasons. If you dislike x and x about various things then being offered a medium to expose those views to a wider audience is a good thing.

Pointing them towards that which you dislike only perpetuates that which you dislike.

I didn't say anything about fighting for a cause. Merely influencing something you dislike in the direction that you do like when the opportunity is handed to you rather than doing the exact opposite, influencing it in the direction disliked, towards those that you complain about.
