Guys, i'd love to know how some of you would have handled the following situation. It's easy to read about it in a book but in practise it really threw me off..

I'm at the bar last night and there's a group of girls sitting adjacent to me. I manage to open the group, chat away to a few whilst dropping a cheeky neg to the girl i was really interested in. Anyway, long and short is i manage to get her alone at the other side of the bar and we're chatting away, all seems to be going really well when some suited and booted AMOG who had quite clearly been on it all day manages to come over and squeeze his schwatzenegger-esque physique into the tiniest gap between her and me leaving me with an oversized back to look at whilst he tried to win her over..

I tried everything i could think to disarm him but he just grunted at me and completely cut me off...
She tells him to get lost and eventually he goes but after the vibe we'd built had just been lost and i was totally thrown off.

So question really is, how do you deal with someone clearly physically and finically better off than you, when he drops right in the middle and refuses to even acknowledge my attempts of disarming, leaving me looking like a right plum on the outside??

In this situation, just by the way he's gone about it he is blowing himself out so you don't need to try and use tactics, just smile and be indifferent, maybe start talking to the barmaid, order a drink or whatever. His money and looks are irrelevant, the fact that he has no group social skills and respect for your conversation automatically puts him at a lower value than you were at. To lower his value more I might be friendly to him and introduce myself hoping he rejects it and comes across even more arrogant.

If he lasts more than a few minutes with her or actually has some game, I'd manoeuvre around, and so only she can hear say "I'm of to the toilet, have fun with your creepy new friend, will be back in a minute" with a smile and some Kino.

The vibe is what you make it, the fact that he threw you off and you believed he'd killed it was what probably killed the vibe.

the problem is, in this situation id have ended up fighting!!

took dominance, u still protectin her but without a fight!! u need t show a protective side

Would have been a safe move if you just got up, held out a hand, and took her to another seating area. The girl was with you on this situation, she would have complied.

AMOG are a real fucking problem and threre first course of action seems to be fighhting talk, I can handle myself but will never reduce myself to fighting over a girl who could be replaced in less than 20 minutes.

People are right, you should have taken her hand and got here out of there, its easy looking back right;). It doesn't sound like your froend was a AMOG just a jealous drunk.

The reason you lost the girl is she had to take charge and deal witht the situation you're the one who is supposed to show strength.

Hey it happens to the best of us, I've devised entire rountines for dealing with AMOG they are that fucking annoying.

Thanks for the input. I mean I can handle myself in a physical situation no problems but I agree with knave, I'm not going to knuckle up some guy over a girl I've just met and get myself barred from one of the only decent bars in my little town.
Glad to get a few different perspectives on it though. I'm sure, given some time, a situation like this won't phase me at all. Its just a work in progress =)

She could tell him "to get lost" all she wanted but we all knew she damn well liked it!

Dominating her space , physically getting close to this girl, turning his over-sized back against.....all this sounds like some aggressive kino that could get women into bed. While you were standing there, some guy that was more alpha than you just took this girl's attention away from you.

The stuff he did is what YOU should have done. Maybe you should have gotten EVEN closer to her, maybe you should have kino'ed her more, maybe you should have dominated her space! If you had done all that maybe she would have brushed the other guy off within seconds of him invading your space.

Did you just converse with this girl? What else did you do? So don't hate on the guy for being more masculine and aggressive than you. In club settings and just about all settings the more aggressive male wins.

Everybody here has talked about how to handle amogs but nobody has said anything about what we can learn from amogs.

Woman will go with whoever the alpha male in her eyes is.

p.s. Anyone talking about have a fight over a girl is just lame.

Too true. Yeah, in hindsight i can see how easily it would have been to do things differently. Guess i got caught off guard and buckled. Thanks for the advice though guys. Next time things'll be different.

nah!! if it was a bird id just met i wouldnt fight,

but if i was on a date, or with my bird! id just end him.

and yeah women do just hang on to the alpha dog ALWAYS... dont ever get alpha taken from u..
