Train Station Game

Hi Guys,

basically i was inspired to start this thread cause i was on the way home from work and i saw this hottie who walked onto a train i was already on. she initially had her back towards me then she looked around and her body was almost facing me. now i could see from the corner of my eye that she looked at me a few times. but train game i've heard is not easy so i didnt even bother doing anything cause of the awkwardness associated with this kind of game if it fails.

This has been something that i know i've struggled with but im sure a lot of others have too. i thought i'd open a thread so we could discuss possible tactics, possible openers, how quickkly to escalate, how to build comfort.. things of this nature.

so i guess i'll start by asking you guys what i probably should have done. i'm taking the constant looks at me as IOI's but would really like to know what you guys are thinking...

I tried this when I first started gaming as I was doing a lot of travelling around.
Got a few numbers out of it so its worth doing.

Find out their stop early on (Its an easy opener, because everyone on a train has to get off at some point) and get their number at least 5-10 minutes before they have to get off. It is very likely you'll need to do this, because its less likely they'll be getting off at the same stop as you.

Another opener you could use is to ask what they're reading, lots of people read on the train.

If you're getting looks like that I'd say thats definitely an IOI. So its worth just going up and having a chat, saying hi and being normal and confident.

I don't know why you think there would be awkwardness. There can only be failure if you care about the result of the interaction.

the akwardness for me (in my head) are about not being able to close and then having to deal with the remaining journy with this feeling of awkwardness, also because its close proximity a lot of other people are around and it just amplifies that feeling. But i take on board what you're saying about what i percieve to be failure so maybe i need to reprogram that trigger in my head.

Questions:

what if she has headphones on? how do you open her?
a two set on a train, possible openers? (are these the same as day game?)

Oh yeah, people *will* watch you if you are successful on a train. Usually with awe at whats happening, or wanting to be part of your interaction. You have to be comfortable with it. Take it as a compliment!

As Jaz said about openers, any old one will do.

headphones is a good excuse to muck about.> Tap her on the shoulder and motion her to take them out, then ask 'hey, what were you listening to?' Its all good practice even if they live miles away. I'm starting to find not opening sets more awkward and annoying afterwards. Girls that were clearly interested and approachable are burnt into my mind as 'Should of' memories.

I have a question.

I have noticed this for a while now but today it happend and i thought "right! im gonna ask the lads about this one"...


So im on the train on my way to work and sometimes as the train is pulling up on the platform and slowing down, i look to notice if an HB's are on the platform waiting to get on the train (usually people stand at the right spot when the doors will be).

Sometimes there are HB's and when their are, i always observe to see if she hold eye contact through the glass of the doors. I have noticed this has happend a few times (and she happens to end waiting at the the doors of the carage that im in as i usually stand next to the doors).

now my sticking point. This happend today, HB looks at me (clearly notices me), i sense the prolonged eye contact and feel this train journy could get a lot more exciting. She ends up waiting at the doors im standing at....and then she moves to another set of doors!....what the fuck? this has happend a few time.

So my question is... have you guys noticed this happen to you? do you even look at the platform as the train is pulling in for HB's. and i suppose, how do i prevent this from happening?....

would be interested to read your responces...

Yeah trains can be a very very tense atmosphere. I was working in London for a couple months and taking trains every day in rush hour. Everyones crammed in, so making eye contact with strangers and then having to stay sat in front of someone for the next hour can be tough on the anxiety.

Ice breakers certainly do make a huge difference, but I've never got the nerves to do it on a commuter train.

Evening trains when the atmosphere isn't so tense as your not over cramped and you can easily move else where seems to help be more relaxed.

Back to your original post. Train game if there is such a PUA phrase is dead easy I was doing this long before I got into the game, although rarely with pretty girls.

To play train game always sit at a table seat if your jorney is long that way you have 3 other options of chat rather than just 1. Okay so its a lottery who you get but its also good confidence building exercise to chat to random people around the table regardless of looks. This worked to my advantage once at a table seat when a group of really hot hens dressed in pink undewear sat at my table, I could'nt compete with there energy level but got some good practice and face covered in red lipstick.

The train is great everybody sits in embarressed silence bored to fuck, conversation is usually really welcome.

Just use your day game on her or keep it topical if your confidence isn't there yet, there is always a metro on any train, just pick it up read the cover story and comment on it..

What I do is usually is treat the table as a 3 set, so I'll chat to one person, last time it was a married woman in her 50's nice looking but the 30 year old red head was the target, involved the old guy next to me ignored red, then negged her with a big grin' she came back with 'how rude' big smile, game on, closed her on the paltform 40 minutes later.

I will say just be carefull if you think you're freaking her out or making her feel uncomfortable back off, trains can feel very claustrophobic, its not a night club nobody can walk off.

Moving away from the table, if you enter a train Its kinda busy you see HB, go sit next to her, 'open with wow this trains busy' you've added a constraint she now feels less threatened, unlike yesterday when a guy sat next to her and spent the whole journey staring at her tits.

I'm not even gonna cover the platform too easy by far, you look like your going to...when is the next...etc, etc, etc

Anyway some of my thoughts, I'm sure you'll get loads more.
