Learning from scratch on your own vs going on a bootcamp?

Dear All,

As a complete newbie in this area of life, would it be worth spending a load of money (around £500) to go on an intensive bootcamp or would it be better to just go out and learn from scratch on my own?

What's your take on this?

Cheers

Hound

Rather then say one or the other why not just say try both.

Try the free options, try on your own, try hanging out with some guys off here. Other people you know who are good with women. If then all still doesn't work try paying your hard earned cash then.

I think I've only ever spent 20 quid on PUA. For the book the game and the rules of the game. I've never been to a bootcamp yet. If you have the money to spare I guess it could give you a boost. I just go out and try things out myself. It could be cool to get some feedback though.

Don't do a bootcamp. Its a complete waste of money.

Do you think one weekend is going to teach you definitively how to get good with girls? No, it isn't. It takes longer than that, it takes hard work and practice, and chucking £500 at the problem won't help.

Sorry, I know this is a disappointment.

Find some wings from this forum. Start going out with them fairly regularly - more than once a week if you can. When you go out with your wings, open sets. Talk to girls. Help your wings, and your wings will help you. Have a laugh and enjoy yourself.

Then, the morning after, come and write down your experiences here. You will have the opportunity to evaluate your performance, to debate sticking points, and other people on this forum - many of whom are extremely talented - will provide second opinions.

Continue to do this, and in 6 months time, you will begin to show some considerable improvement.

Even better, that £500 will still be in your back pocket, and the money that you were going to spunk on some con artist PUA instructor can instead be spent taking an extremely attractive girl to Europe for a few nights of sexual debauchery.

Yep?

Its your money but I wouldn't waste it in this way, save your money for buying drinks in the field when you're ready.

if you want free training videos from some of the top PUA pm me.

I don't think you need to spend £500 on a bootcamp. Like everyone else has said...There are people on here that would happily meet and help you out, just as long as your a good laugh! The best thing about forums like this is that you can meet like minded people, shoot the shit, hone your skills AND get honest positive/negative criticism all for free.

If you have 500 quid to spare. Go spend it on some clothes, some splash (to get that gash), some shoes/trainers and a new haircut if you need one. Spend it on Salsa lessons, yoga class, jazz class...Hell maybe even a cooking class! Not only will you be expanding your hobbies you'll be meeting new people, new woman!

Option 1: Spend £500 on a two day course learning to do shit that you could easily learn from talking to people on here

Option 2: Spent that same £500 on getting some awesome hats (trust me, chicks love hats), clothes, peacocking gear or whatever... and then with your new look and new swagger, head out and just talk to some people. You can just say "Hi, quick question, I just bought this new [hat / necklace / ring / sunglasses]... what do you think?"

End of the day, I've found that PUA is about the individual, not some set of rules that tell you how you should and shouldn't act. You become a better at playing football by going out and playing football. You get better at pick-up by going out and trying a few pick-ups. And remember, you probably didn't score the first 100 goals you shot, but you learnt the way to beat the keeper in the end because you took shot after shot after shot until you had it nailed (pun very much intended)
