Long story short...
There was a girl at Uni and we had a class togheter a year ago. That time I had a relationship so i didnt asked her out for a date.
She looks a really prerry and cute girl so i didnt forget her.

2 days ago I saw her post in a University fb group that she was looking for a book.
Obviously i dont have that book but it seemed to be a good opportunity to start a conversation with her.
So i wrote her a message.

I asked her some personal question but she didnt show so much interest maybe she think that I wrote her only because of that book.

(Forget about about the book i just used to startba conversation)

After all i remind her that we had the same marketing lesson a year ago and i remember her cute smile and her presentation in class.

Now our conversation looking like this:

She:"Oh yes😃 That was a long time ago"😅

Me: Yes, a year ago😅 Seems my memory still working. Otherwise you are so likeable.😊 Do you mind to go out for a coffee with me?

She: I dont think this is the best idea during this covid outbreak.


So what should be a proper answer for this to continue?
I know it could be a nicely packed get away from me. But maybe not.
What you think? What would be a proper answer to do the best with this situation?

Should answer sg like, then lets just talk to know each other little more and we can go for that coffee after the covid settle down a little more.

Whats your opinion guys? Somehow my brain totally freezed in this situation😒

FYI: The reason you froze up is that you knew instantly and instinctively that it was a brush off. Your should learn to trust that feeling and its opposite.


So, this is totally out of the blue for her. If you'd talked she'd at least know something of your personality. Whether she were attracted to you or not, it is likely making her a little nervous.

The covid is a convenient excuse. If she was sufficiently attracted, she'd meet you. Plus you've already shown your hand and in an incredibly clumsy way.

She isn't thinking "wow, I always wished this guy would talk to me in class". At best she remembered you as just some guy who was not unattractive. And now after your "I remember you, I like you, you are pretty, let's meet" she thinks "well this is awkward".

At this point I'd say to hard swivel. Continue as if all the previous conversation never happened, by making some witty quip about covid for example. Unless she comes back with something absolutely captivating, just leave that shit on read and get on with your life.

No. That's not a hard swivel, that's continuing on the same theme with greater intensity. It is most likely she is not attracted to you, she's a little nervous and she thinks this is awkward.

Say something completely unrelated to your goal of fucking her.

I would just say

"OK, there's the invite, you know where I am if you change your mind.

You've said your bit, now its up to her. In the mean time you forget her and move on, nothing else you can do, if she gets back to you, bonus if not then you haven't mugged yourself wasting your time.
