Go to your room you've been a naughty boy! |
That’s not a rebuttal. You’re wrong and you have an ego problem.

Im thinking of going to Madrid. I might look you up. |

I don't know anything about the Science. I just know what I see with my own eyeballs.
If this virus was so bad, you wouldn't need the news to tell you it was. Your neighbours would be getting carted off to mass graves and children would make nursery rhymes about it. I don't personally know anybody who has had a confirmed case of it, yet I know tons of people who "swear they had covid early this year" - and are fine. One thing I can be certain of is the economic repercussions are going to be disatorous, the lockdown was a terrible decision. God knows how many people are going to be out of work. The scarier thing for me is how willing people were to be locked in their homes - zero resistance. Got to feel for young people too, being chastised by the man. We were lucky to get a decade of partying out of the way. |

This was for two main reasons. Reason one was that as a psychology student it was bizarre to witness how fast the world escalated into chaos, fear and mass compliance. One day everyone's going about their business, and within three weeks they're forming orderly queues outside Tesco to go in and buy rations. Reason two I would almost refer to as comically ironic from a personal perspective, because for at least six months beforehand I'd been heavily into the study of Totalitarianism. I'd been reading loads of literature about Nazi Germany and all the shit that happened there from 1933 onwards, and I could begin to see similarities to events that happened back then i.e. the fast-tracked laws, the restrictions like don't go further than 2 miles from your home or be fined, and that it's all for our own good etc. I could go on. It freaked me the fuck out, and I still find it surreal how quickly mass panic swept across the globe. And this shit seems far from over. |
Fear controls. Also people look to a leader to make decisions for them, its easier to follow than lead. The powers that be know this and are able to manipulate the masses. Scare them enough and you will have them eating out your hand

I think even the smooth brains are starting to wake up to the reality of covid 19 - It just ain't that bad.
|
Yep i think your right.
From the independent "Tory backbench anger over coronavirus restrictions burst into the open today as the health secretary, Matt Hancock, faced charges of “authoritarianism” from a member of his own party." Hopefully we might see the end of the stuoid restrictions soon? |
This Thursday, another "lockdown" of a sort.
However, from what I understand takeaway options from cafes and bars/restaurants are still available. I'm trying to still set up dates despite this, and public transport will still work due to no changes in work/school routines. Thoughts? |
I don't think this lockdown will be as bad. The last one people were totally shitting themselves. I imagine this to be much more relaxed and less tense.

Having said that, I'm on a date tonight in a small town so I'll find out the hard way. |
This is no lockdown, just an anti socialising shut down.

TBH this is the first weekend i have had off since just before this social lockdown, i'd been on a 9 day shift so not had a chance to do anything, although I did pop into westfield in Stratford to have a look, as most of the shops were shut it was pretty dead so I gave up and didn't bother this weekend.
My guess is they will open up on the 2nd for the christmas buisness (shops only) then close again after new year. |
Yeah I'm reluctant to do mask-based approaches as funnily enough, the bottom half of the face does matter a lot (especially if I can't read their expressions properly). I'm reluctant to do westfield for that reason.

The whole bollocks situation, the stupid contradicting rules that are obviously doing nothing except controlling us, I struggle with being controlled, its mentally affecting me.
Day and night game affected due to work commitments, at least being able to go to the pub gave me a bit of normality. |
Dating and PU has taken a major hit this year, making it near impossible.
As I may have mentioned in earlier posts, I would use this time to concentrate on other aspects of your life aside from women. |
I've got plenty other aspects of my life to concentrate on, I need the woman to take a break from the other aspects. :)

My time is filled with awesome shit I enjoy doing. New career, business project, a million books, a few girls, a cool kid a have a laugh with, and study interests including maybe doing another degree if I'm ever able to establish that I can make time. For the most part I've made the most of the whole lockdown shizzle.
For now though, I'm off to visit a new girl to "Netflix and chill", followed by my more regular girl tomorrow night (the one I'm starting to love a bit). |
Great your getting your life in order, its important to get a good balance, I envy you.
I work on the railway, shift work and quite often all weekend and earlies one wk lates the next and occasionally nights so getting a balanced life isn't easy not to mention a lack of a proper social life that is scarce at weekends. |
