Age gap limitations online dating!? -

Back in 2017, I got my first (and only) full time job, from which I was forced to resign after a misunderstanding with a colleague (but that's a different story!) in April 2018, after over a year.
I always said to myself "I will not attempt dating until one or both of the following criteria have been fulfilled 1. I get a full time job and 2. I move out of home".
So with the full time job I had achieved one of those two criteria and felt it appropriate to start meeting young women.
However, whenever I set the minimum age on POF to 18, it kept jumping back to 22. At first I thought it was a bug and thought little of it, but then it kept happening.
I was 27 at the time so not even 10 years older.
What is going on!? Is this due to the ever encroaching march of feminism on male rights? I have a right to make enquiries with 18 year old girls if they are attracted to me. If so, it's nobody's business what we get up to with each other.
What if I identify as 18? Just like some men identify as women or women identify as men? Surely you couldn't say no to that, because that would be identity discrimination.
I think it's unfair because not everyone gets to have a prime 18 year old girl when they were 18. I never did, I didn't even get a 21 year old girl or 25 year old one.
So who are Plenty of Fish to say I can't speak to young girls?
