Some questions about confidence .. and its importance -

In PUA it is said that confidence is an important or the most important attraction switch or character trait that must be displayed.
It made me think. I can't be confident or not based on desire, for me at least belief is not determined by desire, at least not directly. Nonetheless, it is possible for me to act confidently or at least try to without , being confident inside. So it made me think, should I think fake confidence if I lack it? Should I hide my insecurities? Is this better than being seen as unconfident? I do understand the importance of genuine confidence. But its not always a choice.

You are in stage 2 of becoming competent at being confident. Don't give up and you'll make it to stage 4 (Also known as being natural in the PUA world)! :-) Good advice from Jaz there!

I think the key is not to think about getting good at becoming more confident, just focus on getting good at pick-up. Confidence is a by product in my opinion.
I see confidence as a being a big factor in how successful you are but the more you think about it the harder it becomes, it needs to be natural. 'The race is long, and in the end, it is only with yourself'
