Have any of you sold vacuums door-to-door?
 

I am looking for the people who did it for a while and were good at it.

I sold Kirby's for a couple years, and even though every person was different, the same shit worked about one out of three times. Our pitch to get in was the same, we made it our own and it varied slightly by how I calibrated the person, yet it was the same aggressive, rule-of-reciprication using, blind, turn-and-burn pitch. Then the demo went with the flow, yet five points were always covered. If you couldn't logistically cover all five, you did every one you could before the tell you to kick rocks.

What I am wondering, what are more $3,000 door-to-door vacuum cleaner sales like approaches to PU? Has anyone ever gone to the club and walked up to every hot woman , and said something bold and direct like "nice shoes, wanna screw"? Using nothing but a veriation of that line all night. Forget trying to read the girl and play to her type. If she gets mad, throws a drink, slaps you, or whatever, then turn to her friend (if hot) and ask her like her friend never happened.

If you have sold vacuums then you know there is more finesse than that last example, but it is pretty basic compared to most sales.

Just wondering...any thoughts, examples (even if softer than above example)?

PUA can be very similar to selling yes. The more you open, the better your experience. Plus it pays to practice new techniques and stuff over and over on many girls until your skills are honed.
