Default Some weird behaviours - 28-07-2010, 10:21 AM

I want your advice on two strange behaviours that I witnessed last night.

I was chatting to this cute little HB7 girl called Beth, and this mate of mine (Alex) kept repeating this behaviour that completely threw me; I just didnt know how to respond to it.

Basically, if I am talking to a girl (whether I fancy her or not), he will walk over and loudly announce something like "shes really pretty, go on, pull her", "she likes you, go for it", "take her home and fuck her", or other things like this. He repeats this behaviour endlessly, and won't stop, even if I ignore it.

This affects my state because it throws me when I'm trying to avoid giving IOIs to a girl. I feel like he's giving the game away, and I worry that this behaviour will DLV me. I just don't know!

I want to know:

-Is this behaviour essentially his attempt at cockblocking?
-Does it DLV me?
-What would be a sensible way to respond (or not)?

The second weird behaviour is far simpler. I started chatting to a guy who I recognized, and I made an innocent comment about his glasses, saying they made his eyes look yellow. If I'm honest, the bloke looks like a fucking recovering pin junkie, but lets not go there. He responded by hurling a tirade of abuse at me, becoming quite animated in the process. I was left standing there with my mouth hanging open thinking "OMFG! You are really unpleasant!". His friends laughed at me. I guess the best way to respond to someone who is directly abusive or unpleasant in the face of attempted friendliness is just to instantly cease talking to them, preferably before they even finish their sentence. They arent worth your time in the first place. Correct?

Matt

- I dont know whether he was cockblocking. He was probably having a laugh and trying to put you off, maybe out of jealousy. Boys will always be boys.

- Nah. He probably DLV himself. Your body language and how you handle the situation will only DHV of yourself in front of cute Beth.

- Isolate the girl where he cant find you both. Or excuse yourself and have a quiet chat with your mate. Or dont bother taking taking him out next time.

Rather thinking, you should be speaking those words...!
And just walk away. Problem solved. Some people like to be a TWAT and I dont have time for those people. I remove them from my life.

Would you say that the best response for behaviour #1 is to DHV by not letting it fuck up my state, and just rolling with it? The main problem for me is that no matter how I respond (or not), he just keeps on with it. It ends up fucking with my state.

I like the guy, but he is a menace to go out with at times.

In terms of behaviour #2, I think the next time it happens, I'll instantly turn my back and IOD before they even finish their sentence.

I would say "This is my gay lover, he won't leave me alone, he's so jealous."

It disarms him and it's funny and non-threatening to her.
