Decent places to go in Manchester
 

Heading to Old Trafford tomorrow for the Man United game. Think I was last in Manchester in 2005 for an Oasis concert.

A few of you lot on here are from there, so looking for suggestions on decent bars/places to go as Im clueless. Potentially any decent clubs, although Im a bit old for that now so generally avoid them.

I'm 33 this month & I feel 20.

I'm 36. Fuck going to clubs, I think they are shit. Never enjoyed them that much when I was younger either. Much prefer late closing bars or casino.

Never been a club person. I enjoy a game of poker but gambling aside I like the casino because its chilled out & you can drink until 5am.

If theres any decent bars or clubs in Manchester worth hitting up, let me know.

Thanks you just gave me a business idea cos there's no (legal at least) all night casinos in Belfast.

If your looking for places to go to meet women go to Tiger Tiger it’s 1 of the few clubs I like and it’s always fun in there plenty of women in there.

Lol. Nope. It's a total shithole, in anyone's sane opinion. And there's not any women in there, just horrid little underage wythenshawe slags. The music is dreadful. The floor is sticky from red bull. And on and on.

Didn't end up in any of the places Kowalski suggested.

Stayed in the Salford Travel Lodge, had pre-match drinks in the Moon on the something (Weatherspoons) and then The Botanist which was pretty cool. Post game drinks in the Trafford Bar for about 2 hours after the game whilst we waited for the traffic to clear which got so rowdy they closed early with inadequate door staff to handle the amount of punters. Back to the hotel to get changed then after multiple double g&t's in the Botanist again headed to Crafty Pig & Patrone in the North quarter.

No relevant female interactions that went anywhere although a girl spoke to in Patrone who told me she was a lesbian & I didnt believe herended up snogging the tits of her hot "mate" so fair play I guess. Don't really remember Patrone as was completely away with it by about 11ish nor do I remember getting back to hotel just before 3am & somebody waking me up on the stairs about 05:30. Still had a brilliant night, plenty hotties but unfortunately not really in much of a state to speak to them - was a good effort consideringI had my first beer at 05:45 & bar the flight & some brief shopping & couple of trips to & from hotel been boozing all day.

Deffo looking to come back, whether its for football or not plenty bars we missed & seems like a good night out. We generally get together for a night out on average once every 18 months these days but I'll push for he next opportunity that comes up.

It's not less nerve wracking. If anything it's more nerve wracking because in a club girls know some drunk cunt is gunna take a chance, but when she's walking around looking for a new handbag she's not expecting to be approached, and that shit is special to bitches.
