punewby- read the good stuff about pick up or 'natural stuff' take what you need from it and find your own natural way. what works for others may not work for you. going out with somebody who's better than you really brings your game on.

trying on new behaviours isn't a bad thing! this gets you out of habbitual patterns, ways of doing things that don't work. when I first started pu stuff, the way I was didn't attract women or maybe the ones I wanted to be with. I didnt change the nature of who I was, just the 'so called' social aceptable bahaviours, that we are conditioned with as children, which are out dated.

camarada- examples would be, if a girl was rude to me not confronting her because she is a girl.
if i slept with a girl on the same night the devil would come and burn my ass. (think I learnt this at school) having the feeling of always pleasing people so they would like me and be accepted, going with social trends. sins.

Being new to this community is daunting. I feel for you mate. My advice is as follows: read The Game by Neil Straus. It's a well written book about a geek who becomes a master of pickup after a chance meeting with Erik von Markovic aka Mystery.
The good thing about Neil Strauss is that he demonstrates that you don't have to have alpha male looks to be ultra successful. He isn't tall or particularly good looking but by adopting certain behaviours he has generated attraction from the finest womens in the world. My second advice is to go out and approach women. Be natural and friendly..avoid stock openers because a lot of women have heard them. But if you must, keep a couple of good, simple openers in your pocket or phone and use them to initiate conversation. Focus on opening first. It doesn't matter if the interaction goes nowhere. It is paramount that you open. No excuses!
