Goo places to meet women

What are some good places to meet women? I live in a town so I have rather limited options. Preferably lone women between the ages of 18-25.

I've tried local clubs for things I'm interested in, other than a youth group I'm with, they're full of over 40's. One club I'm with, there's a 25 year ago gap between me and the second youngest!

The only hit I've ever gotten in the world was a girl in a pub, but that one sheer luck. She worked there and was waiting to start work. There are no women in pubs around that age where I live. Next is book stores or cafe but not had to confidence to try these yet.

Anyone got any ideas?
