So i would consider myself pretty fucking awesome.

But every so often i have a mental breakdown (3 in 10 years) where i evolve and grow.

Usually a consequence of women, work or both.

So i have set up a thread for self help audio suggestions..

A few of my favourites.


1) 48 Laws Of Power

Was actually gunna start a similar thread about actual books. Cos I've took to reading a lot more.

Started The Secret last night & I'm just about to finish it now (in 50 pages).

The subtle art of not giving a fuck - Mark Manson
The 7 steps to inner game power - Dan Silverman

Probably got a few more at home that are good also. The first 3 above are all available in kindle format for cheap as chips. Ive got pretty much all David De Angelos stuff I acquired back in his hay day but barely looked at any of it, not sure if it would be out dated now or if I could still punt it on ebay for a decent price.

Stuff doesn't really outdate in self help. Your insides are your insides.

Perhaps in pickup they make out stuff is outdated but in reality...PUA is only useful until u realise its all a load of crap and it just gave u the confidence to practice talking to girls until you did.... then u just be a normal human.

But trust me, i got '77 Laws' tattooed on my chest because it is that relevant to being a man and in control of yourself.

Just went through these.

48 laws - It's alright, there's lots of stuff where he contradicts himself and plenty where it goes against currently known behavioral facts.

77 laws - This was better than 48, yet he does spend a lot of time just saying "you know x... stop that... just stop it"

Subtle art - Mostly filler and felt like I'm beyond that advice except for a couple of bits towards the end.

Black dicks - An interesting and informative introduction to a Manchester based club of fat niggers called Richard.

48 laws - yeah i feel a lot of contradictions... but then they are relative to different situations. I read the book from the person of power rather than the subject...

77 laws - thats ok to tell people to stop doing stuff. in fact a lot of what people do wrong is try to do stuff right rather than do nothing.

In most cases, the best course of action is no action, especially in dating.

Subtle art - it basically humanises spirituality.. its the same shit they say but without it being about some pretentious force of the universe.


An audio book is only as good as the lessons you learn.
