Can you recommend any "idiot's guides" to PAU?

Hello

I have read a couple of PUA books a few years back (e.g. Neil Strauss's The Game) but am now a little rusty. Can anyone recommend any really simple idiot's guides / "cheat sheets" to this stuff that just covers the basics?

Also, I find reading difficult so are there any really good videos that cover the received wisdom of how the basics of pick-up work?

I'm not sure I could recommended 1 video.

What I find useful is to be inspired. I prefer cold approaches when it comes to meeting girls and to be quite explicit with my intent (ie being direct). However to do this involves overcoming anxiety (This is not considered normal behaviour in society ).

One of the ways which helps me overcome the anxiety is to see videos of other guys doing the same thing. Youtube has lots of videos like this. These videos could be fake but that's not really the point, they motivate me to talk to girls (sometimes).

So go onto youtube and search for Tom Torero, Deepak Wayne, Justin Wayne.
Also Casey Neistat (not pickup related)

I just had a look that. Seems super long-winded. Lots of black bro banter and laughter and people talking over each other. 11 episodes each of which seem to be 1-2 hours. "Why do you have to go to Brazil to get a high enough quality of hooker?"
Not a great start.

This better be worth it!

EDIT:
Sorry but Black Phillip is so full of 'shouting' and conflict between the sexes, I just can't stomach listening to it.

Call me naive but I seek a powerful relationship between equals where both parties are broadly pulling in the same direction, supporting and inspiring each other, not locked in a perpetual "Battle of the Sexes". Yes, men and women do have slightly different energies and that's a good, healthy thing. But can't their differing strengths and weaknesses be used to support each other rather than endlessly compete for who's right and who's wrong and who holds the power?

In an ideal world, yes. But there's too many factors that would make that a pretty difficult outcome to achieve.

Yes, in the real world it's clearly a matter of degree. In one of my previous relationships I managed to massively change the dynamic between us from being set at competition between us to the autopilot being on cooperation be between us. We had fantastic sex too - probably best ever. Ultimately it didn't work out of other intractable reasons, but it was a great relationship while it lasted.

Just clocking in to say Sinn seems good so far.

Can somebody please spell PUA properly in this thread title?

UPDATE: On reflection Sinn is too narcissistic for me.

I am now reading (listening to in fact) "Models: Attract women through honesty" by Mark Manson.

This is much my vibe - more self improvement, more honesty and interestingly more "vulnerability". And less macho manipulative egotistical bullshit.

I'm about half way through. He's fractionally sappy, but given that I want to attract the more educated, intellectual, principled woman much of what he says perfect sense.
