What is the Mystery Method?

So, a big name in the seduction community is Mystery - although I never see much said about him these days. Mystery dedicated his time to understanding people and most importantly - women. Using social dynamics, Mystery came up with his own 'guide' of how to get beautiful women into bed.

His method was split into 9 parts;

ATTRACTION
A1 - Open - When you first begin conversation with a set and earn their attention and acceptance.
A2 - Female to male interest - You demonstrate higher value while also showing lack of interest in your target - receiving indicators of interest
A3 - Male to female interest - You bait the target to become more invested in the interaction - handing out indicators of interest

COMFORT
C1 - Conversation - You build comfort and rapport with the target
C2 - Connection - After enough comfort is built, a connecction will occur - kino escalation and kissing (may span over several dates)
C3 - Intimacy - Once at a seduction location, you mover her to your bedroom

SEDUCE
S1 - Foreplay - You begin escalation towards sex (If you escalate to here too soon, there is a chance she will feel 'buyers remorse')
S2 - Last minute resitence - Often the freak moment before sex where a girl will feel like she shouldn't continue
S3 - Sex - You know this part...

Now, the book obviously goes into WAY more detail on all of these. But this is just to give you a brief outline of the method.

I want to start by talking about A1 The Open. We've all been there and most of us place WAAAAAAY too much preasure on the openers when we start out. Don't worry, its natural! The key I found was to realise that this one girl isn't important. If she doesn't like my opener, it's not the end of the world. No girl is gonna sleep with you (or not sleep with you) based on your opener. I often use the cube opener if I can, it's not the best, but I've yet to find a girl who wasn't interested in it at the start of the night. After, say, half 12 when girls are drunk - its probably not gonna work!! Don't depend on your opener, use it as an ice breaker and then begin A2...

You should do yourself a huge favour & not pay too much attention to the Mystery Method - seriously. It's maybe good to have a rough idea of how the steps work, but it's just one of those "nice to know" things. Don't pay much attention to it or you'll end up turning into a robot.

Although I tend to rely more on natural method myself these days. I don't go dogging on Mystery Method as I know it does work and where I got my start out.

You don't hear much about Mystery these days because, he had kids and left the scene. Specifically having a daughter, I'm sure her had some reservations about what he was teaching other men and might have changed his point of view. However I have heard as of recent he is a bit back on the scene and doing a bootcamp in Spain.

Aside from him not being in the scene to endorse his own method, it was also the problem of replication. As with multiple doing his method and general society becoming more aware of PUA. You couldn't just run around using lines "Who lies more Men or Women?" as they would know you are running a script. However these days, since people don't do it anymore. You don't have the same risk of getting "caught" and can still get a high level engagement. However the point was to really understand the principals and structure of good openers and DHVs and create your own. However being who they are and laziness and convenience being what it was copy and pasting routines is often the default easy route.

Stilll think Mystery Method has it's place these days. Particularly with the popularity of the natural method there allot of guys lacking any technique or finesse out there. Particularly like on good protocol, like how to be a good wingman or how to be calibrated with the situation as when is the right time to sexually escalate . (Hence the accusations in media of PUA being connected with Rape culture. Ie. Roosh and Julian Blanc).

As Pickup is an ART. As an art you need a mixture of technique and creative expression. Natural method is creative, but sometimes people can skip over the technical part. Whereas some people who did mystery method could be the other extreme of being too technical, acting like droned out robots stacking routines.

I mean if you learned to play Jazz and want to play improv music. It does help to learn the basics of music at the very least (Such as the scales). And then understand theory on how to harmonize with others. And from there having a basis how to free flow and express yourself well. However some people entering PUAs are jumping into jamming without even knowing the basics. (Particularly the basics of even Social Skills and protocol which is why they might be having trouble with women in the first place)

Firstly technique, method and finesse really do mean dick in the world of PUA unless you're trying to impress other guys which really is the point of the method being so structured almost like an if then, else computer programme...

He knows his stuff.....and I have picked up some tips from him.....but his book is just to complicated for me.
