A girl said hi to me!! Need help advancing it
 

I'm new to PUA but this happened earlier today. I want to keep going while things are hot, so fast suggestions are welcome.

Class had a 2 hours break, so I went to a coffeehouse and wanted to buy coffee. But just before me waiting in line a girl from class stood. She said Hi with a smile, I said hi back. Then she turned around, it was awkward silence and she looked back now and then but I had nothing to say so I pretended to look at the menu. Luckily the line was moving fast and I soon had my coffee and went outside to walk around lonely as I usually do. But she was waiting.

Now she asked "what did you do in class today? I overslept". I told her what we did and she continued the conversation "my boyfriend is currently studying in another town for a year".

We haven't said hi or talked at all before, why did she bring this up?????? Are she saying "you can be in my bed for a full year"? Or "don't bother I'm taken". Is it some sort of way to say that she sees me as a friend (or at least not a boyfriend)?

I asked her some stuff about what he studied and conversation soon went dead. So I acted like doh, I forgot to do something and told her bye and I must go.

This girl is really good looking. I would rate her maybe an 8. I really want to take her home. How do I advance this?

She has a boyfriend, dont bother.

Doesnt say muchabout her if shes willing to cheat either.

I said hi to her today again and got an hi back, this happened when walking passed her in the hall. She smiled a little so I think there is interest?

Sadly she was with a friend so I didn't say more and made sure to look like I was in a hurry by walking fast. Really I don't like talking to groups and was afraid the friend would say something, but if I see her alone tomorrow I think maybe I should ask her to dinner or a movie? Is it better to schedule a dinner the same day or is it best to suggest a later date (maybe next week)?

Usually I don't get much further than saying a few phrases to a girl, maybe due to not taking initiatives and "advancing stuff". Then she ends up talking to other guys and not acknowledging me.

I think I can advance stuff by saying something like (me)"Hello", (she)"hi", (me)"I was thinking, would you like to go to a dinner? I will pay for it".

I think hanging out with groups of people is too big of a leap for me. I don't have any IRL friends. But I will however keep working this girl and maybe even try and approach some lonely girls in the mall tomorrow. I feel much better doing that.

You can close this thread. I said hi today and she didn't say hi back. I don't think I will get this girl.
