Why do you do pick up - Validation or fun?
 

So, when you're out and about talking to girls, do you do it for fun or do you do it to feel better about yourself? What do I mean by this? Well, when you're talking to a girl and you're having fun and not needy and you don't care if she likes you or not - she's gonna be more interested in you. How about if you're trying to use her to fuel your ego? You're trying to get validation from her. You're wanting her to say nice things about you and wanna fuck you there and then and if she doesn't you're gonna go cry in a corner...

If you're out in a club and you're just having fun - you're gonna be more attractive. Why? Because girls are there to have fun! If you're the kinda guy who offers fun - you're in. One ability every PUA wants is the ability to not give a shit. You want to be out having so much fun that if a girl doesn't want to talk to you - she looks stupid! Girls usually don't wanna be the party pooper. Ever been sat with a girl and you're just talking and things are going 'OK' but then some guy comes over and, because he's having more fun, your girl leaves?

Another thing (especially for us newbies) is being happy with the little victories. You opened a 10, had a few minutes of conversation, then she blows you off. Are you butthurt? You shouldn't be! You opened a 10! Who the fuck has the balls to do that!? Enjoy the practise. You're not gonna get good straight away. Simply enjoy it. Just fucking enjoy it. If you approach 15 girls in a night and you get one number - that's good! You know, years ago, if you could get a girls number you were a God! If you go out and don't get laid, you're not a failure! As long as you're going out, approaching and working on it - chill the fuck out. You know how much I've learned about myself from only going out a few times? I do it for fun. I don't care how long it takes to get laid, because it's gonna happen. Like lifting weights in the gym; you lift for ages and see no results, but all of a sudden you begin to see your arms getting bigger and it pushes you on.

I sort of waffled on a bit in this post, but the simple points I wanna make are;

1. Have fun - its more attractive than being gamey!
2. Enjoy the process
3. Don't try to get girls to validate you!

Thing I love about game is it forces yourself to be honest with yourself. I think allot of guys (Including myself) do this for seeking validation. And as you progress and get results in abundance, realize that might have been the validation was being sought more than you would have cared to initially admit.

Yes, enjoy it. Feel that joy inside, and try to maintain it. If something happens that day/night that you don't like, don't let that spoil it, try to regain that inner joy and satisfaction being yourself and staying cool inside. Your body is rewarding you with that good feeling because of your minds attitude and it's meant to encourage you to maintain it.

It's like an internal glow inside your heart and chest, good for your soul and mind, calming. It's a way of being self sufficient in the joy and makes you more independent, then you can share your vibe with those by talking to them and making a few amusing remarks, comments and gives you a good platform for your openers.
