You know it's the same hate that people feel for Hitler that he felt for the Jews. Obviously not for the same reasons, but never the less it's the same state of mind. It's going to be an endless cycle.

I'm only taking the piss, I think it's better to see the good in people and crucially be friendly to people (because then they'll most likely reciprocate) but when they are a dick don't stand for it.
Having said that I just took the piss so I feel like a bit of hypocrite so what the hell do I know
