Pussying out - practise

I haven't been out intentionally trying to meet women for a while, mainly due to money, but I've had one or two come across my path.
I'm finding that if I do get into conversations that last a while I start thinking of asking for the number and then a mix of-
-anxiety as it's been a while
-feeling that I shouldn't escalate because it's a type of work scenario or not appropriate as it's a course or something kick in.

I'm hoping it's down to a lack of match practise and perhaps laziness as I've had a couple of options ticking along, neither of which are long term bets.

Just thought I'd share.
I probably just need to start doing it again and then see whatever life throws up.
