Dance Lessons?

Hi all,

I am thinking about taking some dance classes?

Maybe swing(lindy hop) or salsa.

Has anyone tried this? How did it work for you? Is it easy to get the hang of?

Also if there are any other styles that people could reccomend that would be great!

There's an arts centre/theatre across the road from me that do all kinds of dance.

I'm gunna do a course of urban dance/breakdance the next time it begins. It's a 10 or 12 week course.

I can dance & I do dance, but I'm not amazing. Just the same as most people rocking it.

I want to though, be the cool motherfucker who has the moves no-one else in the room has. Girls love that shit.

Maybe not as far as spinning round on my head & all that, because that's bound to take years. But having really cool standout moves will be a great asset.

I went to salsa classes a good few times

All in all it was really fun and i learned a little salsa

From a game point of view it was 80% girls with a great social aspect of going to bars with Latin themed evenings

I have no rhythm and found it quite hard doing anything more than the basic step but I had a good time with the people and it helped me to improve physical contact and leading with girls and general social situations

Signed up for a 12 week breakdancing course today.

Starts next Thursday 3 hours after my final exam for the current module.

So in that way it's sort of a treat to reward all my hard studying but I wanted to do it anyway.

Can't wait to be body popping & spinning on my head

Only once at a wedding while pissed. Let's just say it's not my forte
