Progressing dates to sex
 

Am trying to be bolder and escalate more if it feels comfortable on a first date.

One girl didn't go for it but had a couple of makeouts on first dates recently, which wasn't happening before.

I wondered does anyone have any good tips on how to escalate beyond this to sex, especially on a second date?

Any thoughts appreciated even if basic!

I can't help you in your question but I will give you some feedback on experience with first dates that lead to sex!

I meet some chick on a night out, exchange numbers, text for a bit then meet them for a first date.

The first date usually ends up with me and the girl totally wasted at Wetherspoons (classy). Afterwards we go back to mine and do the deed (fuck).

Trouble is after that night, the girl usually feel like she's disgraced herself by putting out after a few hours and I will a) turn into a booty call b) never see the girl again.

To summarise, unless your primary goal is just get a lay, don't worry too much about sleeping with her after x amount of dates (5's the limit) but emotionally get her attached to you.

Sex isn't the answer if you're looking for a relationship.

One of my sticking points was that I was getting into 6 date sequences that were going nowhere- neither a relationship I wanted to pursue and I wasn't being direct enough to fuck the girl.
I'm trying to escalate more generally and be bolder about what I want.

When all else fails. Alchohol always helps. So make that first date a bar / somewhere you can drink. Also logistically planning it close to your own house makes a big difference. Can always offer to give her a drive home but make a quick stop upstairs before you do.

Personally for me I'm fine with if things progress to sex on the 3rd date. I just keep the first couple dates pretty low investment on my part. But this depends on the context of where you met. If it was a nightclub your might have progressed further on first meeting. Whereas daygame takes a little more time.
