Was out a few weeks ago, A friend of a friend wouldn't stop ogling the bar maid.

i called him a pussy, and bullied him into it.

He is banging her now...

Apparently he has turned into a demon and just walking up to girls and doing it loads...

for the first time ever in my life I'm just starting to do this now. Grow a pair, walk up and tell them, there's nothing to lose.

Good on the guy. A hot german girl I approached last week, who unfortunately for me had a long-term boyfriend, said "with an attitude like that you will be finding someone very very soon".

Showing confidence and being direct can be a very good thing, but not every problem has the same solution!

I agree partly with this. It's so subtle. You can be direct one moment then act as if you never said it and say something very bland right after. there's a contrast that gets attention. That can spike the attraction.

You just have to have the intuition of what's right at that moment. It can't be scripted or forced it should just happen in the moment. But you have to be direct if it's a cold approach imo. Not sure if a barmaid is a cold approach situation.

I never used to be direct with barmaids. I used to sit at the end of the bar and just fantasise. Now if I think they are hot I just say it to them off the bat. It's fine as long as you are not too pissed when you say it. They get the message and you feel better. You won't offend them they are used to it.

Stop thinking about attraction in terms of "spiking it".

i think a cold approach is situation, environment, person & mood dependant. Its not written in stone that a cold approach HAS to be direct.

I'm not deliberatly nit picking at your posts in case you think I am. Just lately I've been reading stuff on here that's stood out to me that in my opinion i don't totally agree with.

Well actually, I'll do a bit of a back track. To say I'm not really interested in girls isn't admittedly a totally true statement. I am, but I'm also equally interested in doing and looking at other things also. I would honestly say that if I was given a blunt choice of picking women or these other things as my sole focus, I'd pick the other things.

And yeah your last sentence is true, I personally admittedly struggle to do that.
