So, I predominantly go out in City Centre Manchester, its always had an unfavorable ratio of birds to blokes, but recently it seems to be worse than ever.

I don't go out specifically to "game", I largely just like going on the piss with the lads and should the opportunity arise then I'll try an seize upon it, trying to apply the broadest of principles "not to fuck up". However, the predominately male environment makes it virtually impossible to get any IOI's from birds, probably because due to over supply it appears men have become disposable.

Just before I left early in a resigned state the last time I went out (due to what seemed like a futile exercise), a friend said that 95% of blokes are pussies and don't approach, therefore it doesn't matter - this I know to be true, just cant seem to break out of this fug.

Don't mean this to be a negative post, so any solutions, suggestions, musings, budget roofies?

If there are so many men around, yet are just standing drooling at the girls, be the standout guy who approaches all the chicks & you will become the cool muthafukka making all the guys jealous that they are so shit & want to be as cool as the cool person they see who is going up to all the girls

Even use the chodey muthafukkas to your advantage, as your opener

Yeah, stop heading down anal treet, I mean Canal Street all the time. Canal Street is pretty fun actually, you can get the best of worlds! ;)

Amazingly I think that Canal Street might well have the best ratio of women to men, and definitely the best ratio of women to straight men, however the music is absolutely gash and it does have a number of chav scumbags.

The statements about the furniture and the beershield's is true, but the point I'm trying to make is that in the ideal environment of 50:50 split (actually its 10:90) would make our lives a fuck load easier - due to the fact that our relative scarcity would up our value. As it stands its women who live in abundance, anyways as it stands we cant change the ratio (unless you go to Rochdale) and therefore the solution is as it always was...approach.

Cocktail bars tend to attract more women than men so the ratios can even up slightly. In Manchester I've found Font Bar to be a gold mine during the week, particularly Wednesday's and Thursday's when there also tends to be smarter student/professional types out rather than chavs.

I remember one night Nova and I were in Font bar and the ratio must have been literally 90% women to 10% lads. We were complete chodes back in those days and hadn't come across this community so we didn't act on the opportunity presented to us and instead admired from a distance with our beer shields up.
