Right, I'm basically asking on what peoples opinions are on getting peoples names so you can add them on facebook.

Pros
-Easy, most people will give you there facebook name.
-You get to see pics of them and a general incite at who they are.
-Its easy to flirt on facebook.
-You could class them accepting you as an IOI.
-Messaging about anything is easy.
-You can use it to sell yourself.
-Can be used as a DHV if used correctly.

Cons
-They can not accept.
-They find out more about you.
-If you are constantly online you can look like a dweeb.
-If you use it often, they will notice (or it will look like) you just keep adding girls and it mite kinda look creepy.
-Facebook has people you've known through all parts of your life so could backfire in some ways.
-Girls will try flirt with you openly on it, other girls will see it and will be put off.
-Some PUAs use nick names/alter egos. Facebook is you personally.

I'v only been giving girls my fb the past 2 weeks and I'v noticed I'v been getting a lot more status likes since. This is the last status i posted just copyd and pasted, with my name edited out.

The majority of likes was girls and its not the most spectacular of status. But some how i nailed 32 likes off it? Bit of a DHV in a nerdy kind of way for people that see it. (Oh n we were on a fake stag do I'd created. Was and excuse to go Liverpool and use that stag do as an opener. It seemed like a fun idea. I didn't just make hats because I have nothing better to do.)

What are your views?

Mr Pun, depends on what you are trying to achieve from "game"?

If it is trying to get a LTR then maybe the Facebook root will work getting to know each other etc.

If it is sex, I have never found much correlation between Facebook likes & friends and sexual exploits.

If anything I find it can often work against you to have lots of girls on Facebook, all it takes is for one to post something on your wall to mess things up with other girls you have added...

Yeah this is exactly what I mean, This is why i posted it hear to get the advice of pros before i make any decisions that are un-doable. Cheers for the advice. I've used it before and it helped towards getting laid but it was just as a get-to-know-you kind of thing if you get me. Not a I'm-gonna-try-nail-loads-of-fittys kind of thing.

I just wondered if it could be better than txting because it has pictures, if you get a girls number when your both drunk she might kinda forget what you look like and feel awkward about getting in touch. With facebook its all there.

I've facebook closed a few girls on the street. Most were fobbing me off, but a couple I only got to speak to for 1 minute max and were uncomfortable giving me their number. These two girls I ended up building good comfort with and taking out on D2s.

The pros are that it is easier/faster to converse than say text. The cons are that intrigue can be lost in finding out about one another, but I've usually found girls become more interested in me upon adding me. As for anything else, it's what you make of your profile. Surely it reflects you?

I never usually ask for this but I've had a few people be like oh add me I've got a bf so I don't give my number out or w.e and when I do get a name I just message them rather than add them.. Let them add me and that way you can accept them, I guess it kind of flips the tables around and builds some more intrigue for them to reply as they ain't already got you added..

Main reason I used to do this is because you can accept people late at night and play with their privacy settings before they are likely to look on your profile, can be useful..

I don't publish the details of what my gravy consisted of (not saying you do) I always have a mix of what I'm doing, achievements, humour, & girls.

People have actually mailed me asking for advice, & I have helped these patients unofficially.

Although, I de-activated my Facebook a month ago, I don't miss it.

What do they ask you?

There has been so many that i can't remember who was first, but one of the first, around a year ago, was an old mate I used to hang around with when we were kids. He mailed me asking how I managed to quit weed, that he smokes it all the time (he sells it too) & it is ruining his brain, said he is a paranoid wreck & that he dropped a load of mates cos of it, & really wanted to quit... I told him that next time he is sitting with a joint in his hand, about to spark up, to simply think of how he will feel in half an hours time, stressed out & mindfucked with anxiety for no reason at all, & that this should be enough to stop him from smoking (this is the same for anyone, if you are having difficulty quitting, take note)

The reason people ask my help is cos it's pretty well known how successful I have been quitting drugs & for my work against them, so they look to me for advice.

Another was a chick I used to bang, but hadn't seen in years. She wrote to me saying she would love to know how I managed to get clean, & stay clean, that she took meph & E's all the time but didn't want to anymore. I explained that I had had my fill of amphetamines, & rather than have a good time, I would turn into a skitzophrenic mental bastard, so decided that I wasn't going to put myself through that mental torture anymore... Same concept as above, when the after effects of drugs are causing you major problems, just ask yourself, is it worth it? That should help you make the right choice.

I firmly believe that if you are really determined to give up drugs for good, that you are already halfway there, you just need the strength, & usually a bit of support, to do it.


Some young girl about 16 even wrote to me a few months ago telling me she was having relationship problems, that she didn't know if she liked her boyfriend anymore, but that she was being emotionally blackmailed by him that he would kill himself & stuff, so she felt trapped. I told her loads of in depth stuff, & that she was too young to be being put through this, understand why should take a break, with no contact whatsoever, for a week, & see how she feels after that. She was like "omfg you are so right & you have helped me so much, thank you!"



I should be charging for this shit.
