sorry for 2 topics in 2 days but i dunno how to respond to this at all... or moreso what it means.

im chatting to this bird a bit on this site. fuck it i'll post her whole last message for context.

if this was IRL with a girl in a bar/university,and they ask if im seeing someone its 75% of the time a) they are interested in me and want to see whats going on or 25% of the time b) they are a little interested in my life and want to tell me who they're seeing just to chat shit for a bit...

im not a fan of exchanging essays back and forth and to be quite honest.. im not very good at it but im intrigued to know what the last bit "and... are you have any luck on here?" means and whats best to answer it.

if this was a less sensitive girl i'd be like "LOL YEAH ABOUT 10 DATES ALL GOIN WELL U WANNA BE NUMBER 11?" or i'd straight up be like "yeah a lot of interest but dont worry, you're in the top 3 lol.."


i know shes picky or selective cos 2 of my mates setup accounts for a laugh.. tried to get on her and she blanked them pretty much.

If your not a fan of exchanging long essays then maybe you could inform her of this??? If she likes you she will agree with you... Girls will always change their opinions to suit yours if you are valueble enough for them. As for answering her question she wrote at theend..... Dont answer it!!! just pretend like you never even saw it!

I've met probably over 100 women from various dating sites and had message exchanges with around 5 times that many, and I've never really figured out the motive behind that question. My favourite response is " ... well its early days yet I've only been on a few says/weeks (as appropriate)..." followed by a swift change of subject. This gives them nothing they can interpret negatively (which most more elaborate answers will) and underlines the fact that your not a serial on line dater (even if you are) most sites thankfully don't show how long youve been signed up.

As for more general tactics: try to go for a direct phone/email/skype/msn contacts exchange after 3 or so medium sized messages (say 100 -150 words). Try to pace your responses to one every 24/48 hours. On your third response just end it with "anyway I think we should talk directly, you can get me on #999999 / <email/msn/skype/--whatever-->" always give your number as a minimum and whatever else takes your fancy. Don't directly ask for theirs or hint in any way that you expect them reciprocate. Personally I avoid facebook etc as it just gives too much away. Really the volunteering your number first tactic is just pure gold and in my experience gets at least an 80% followup rate of them reciprocating or contacting you via one of said means.

I don't believe % is a function of how often you msg people: that only affects the "replies often" or "replies selectively" status.

The match % is a function of the tests that users complete.

As for opening a bird by referring to her "tats" --- well if she replies to that, she's probably up for anything so say whatever you want. Try and move beyond boring shit like how r u? / what u doing?, could say something slightly controversial and colourful instead, phrased as a question, and wait for a response... "Why is it that.. ____?" or "Do you agree that ______?"... if this can be linked into a strereotype of people with one of her main interests it might help - whatever! :dead1:
