Falling off a bit

I was having a pretty good run throughout june, I was getting laid with a new lass once a week consistently, sometimes more, all same night stuff.
This lasted until early july, when I went back to newcastle for a bit. Now that I'm back in London though, my game's a bit fucked. My results have dropped off now even with other people I'm finding it really hard to hit stuff up properly.
What I dont get is how a really good run of getting laid could actually make going out and doing the same shit you've always done seem more difficult. Has anyone had something like this before? If so is there something I'm not seeing?

Since you were getting so much success previously, you may have become outcome-dependent. Maybe it's just a case of pushing the re-set button and having nights with lower expectations

Maybe its the change of environment

At a guess, I would say you were quite comfortable in the places you visited in Newcastle, probably went to the same selection of bars to find girls. You felt natural there. Then, you moved away and everything is new to you and you don't feel comfortable. It'll come.

Either way, if you keep going out and just accept you're in a flat period things should pick up in due course - just don't get frustrated with yourself.

Lol I phrased this a bit badly. I was only in Newcastle for a couple of weeks, and I didn't really go out, was up there for family stuff. So pretty much all of this has happened in London.

I'm pretty sure it's been that I got too outcome dependent like Smiley K, amit and nova were saying. I'd got into my head that I had to keep getting the same results, so I was being too hard on myself and trying to force it. I'm getting back into the swing of it now though, so thanks guys.

I'm not complaining, just asking for ideas and opinions. It's just new ground for me and it can be a bit confusing. Apart from anything else I put a lot of time and effort in to get to this point. Why in the fuck should I be ashamed of myself just because other people aren't getting laid?

I do. You have the mentality that everyone is dealt a hand of cards. Then you see those who are more successful than you as just being lucky. They're often not, they either try harder or learn faster.

The person who is in the process of working towards a goal will say that it is all about trying harder, putting in the effort and that luck doesn't come in to it.

The person who has acomplished that goal will look back and acknowledge that luck did indeed play a significant part along with the individual effort and that the two are both important.
