Default What food to eat? - 12-07-2011, 05:56 PM

I'm quite slim and looking to bulk up. I know things like chicken, steak, oats are good foods to eat but was wondering what else to eat, maybe as snacks throughout the day, or for larger meals, anything really.
The only thing's I don't eat are nuts and cheese. I know they're both high protein but I cant stand them. Any workout advice would be great too, I've got 8 weeks off college so I can workout as much as I need!

Boiled Eggs, scrambled eggs, celery & carrots, chicken salad, roasted season chickpeas, kale chips, tomatoes, tin of tuna, gherkins, tin of beans!

just mix up the above and what you're already eating, don't buy any crap then you cant eat it!

In my opinion we should eat natural food. Vegetables and fruits are best diet food and we should eat these food because these food are natural and are good for health. I always prefer fruits and vegetables only.

If you always want to keep yourself healthy and fit then you should always follow a balanced diet plan regularly which only include fruits,veggies,eggs,and other low calories,low carbohydrates food and drinks..!!


Maybe one day it will be ok again. That's all I want. I don't care what it takes. I just want to be ok again.

if you're looking to bulk up you want to get eating carbs and protein together.

If you eat just high protien you'll just be really skinny.

if you eat just carbs you'll get fat and the muscles won't grow too much cos you need the protein for building.

I'd say eat every two or three hours with a protein-rich meal. Carbs aren't really going to help you much if you want to build muscle, so high protein, good fat (butter, fat in meat etc) will help you. Then, get your carbs from veg, salad etc. [protein will build your muscle after a workout and fat/carbs will give you energy].

Workout: make sure your technique is right, as you can be doing a whole host of different exercises but if your posture is out or your technique isn't great then you could be wasting a lot of time. Free weights are generally better than using machines etc.

And always consume a protein-rich meal after your workout.

its has great strong effect on tour fatness and also build strongness,.

In my opinion for skinny guys u should try diet with lots of protein.As they require meat on their bones.Boiled eggs and meat specially white meat(chicken and fish)would do better.And for a healthy life u must have a combination of fruit,vegetables and meat as they all have required nutrition that our body need to build up.
