I just realised, upon closer inspection there's a bit of stick fighting going on in that scene along with the knife fighting, a few leg blows and the like. You're right, it's definitely Kali.

Looks great, but in reality it doesn't really work. There was a silat guy in one of the early UFCs when people were still trying to 'see what style is best'.

When you hit someone in the face with a stick(or anything) or stab them in the neck with a knife it doesn't matter how good they are at fighting or how big they are.

My great grandparents were skilled head hunters. In those days, when the locals were building suspension bridges, they had to sacrifice human heads to the spirits residing the rivers. To these days, if you visit the longhouses in Borneo, you can actually see human skulls on the roof rafters...!!
