Just noticed someone posted on this thread after 4 years.
For me I now go to the gym in the mornings before work, 3 days a week. Have done it for the last few months and it's a fucking game-changer. Now when my head hits the pillow at night I'm out like a light.
As for eating it's no longer about losing weight for me, hasn't been for quite a while. It's about getting enough of the right foods; plenty of protein and good carbs, as i'm pretty into body building now.
Most days I have home made chicken curry, which I prepare in advance for 5 days. As I work in an office it's easy to grab a chicken sandwich from Tesco during lunch. I usually have a protein shake or weetabix before the gym. Snacks are tins of mackerel, tuna, or breadsticks and healthy peanut-butter. I get anywhere between 160/200g of protein most days.
I keep it very simple and time efficient. I long ago realised that the whole "dieting " thing is flawed in the sense that people commonly over-complicate it, and because it's so complex and draining that's why they fail. All you really have to do is clean up the food you do eat. No need to follow all these super-strict regimes. It's bullshit.
