Getting Back in the game

I've had a bad case of what style calls AFC reversal over the last few months, so i've decided to get back in the game.
My m8s wanted to go clubbing tonight and since they're only up for getting arseholed i though i'd go a bit early on my own and open a few sets to warm up. the club was nearly empty at first. I had serious approach anxiety at and didn’t open once while alone.

After my Friends arrived I felt more comfortable. I made my m8 go off while I approached a 2 set (HB Brunette 7.5 HB Red Head 7.5) opened with the boyfriend girlfriend opener, and then sat down after a false time constraint. The music was loud and only the target could hear me, I had trouble engaging the obstacle. I went on to tell the target we could never be a couple because we’re too similar. She had fun but I had trouble with the friend. If my m8 had known to engage the obstacle I might have pulled, instead he dragged me off to have a cigarette, all in all good practice.

Upstairs a girl stole my hat, she then proceeded to grind on me for a bit. She was cute but after the song she pulled away. I didn’t know what to say to her to her so I just asked her which of her m8s had my hat and got it back. any advice on this one owuld be cool.

The last was a 1 set downstairs. A HB6 I had seen with some fitties earlier on so I figured easy pickings if they came back. I opened by asking why she was alone, she said her friends had gone for a ciggy. I did the BF GF opener just for small talk. When her friends came back It was just the guys but I was really into the convo by this point so I let it carry on. I got a text from my m8 to say they were leaving and decided to stay with these guys cos they were a laugh and one of the guys happened to be a friend from my uni class.
Anyway, this set went awesomely, I ran the ring finger routine which the girl LOVED and couldn’t believe how accurate it was. She was seriously into me and I would have k-closed her but I didn’t want it getting round the people on my course I’d pulled this 6 (yea, I’m shallow, not proud of it ha

All in all I think this was a pretty successful night as far as getting back into the game goes.

By thy way the boyfirend girl friend opener goes like this

Me: "I need a female opinion on something, how long do you think two people should be going out before they're boyfriend and girl firend?"

Her: Blah blah blah

Me: I'm asking cos i've been seeing this girl for a week and she texted me just before i came out saying 'are we boyfriend and girlfriend' I'm pretty freaked out cos it's so soon, i don't know what to say"

this can also be a good excuse for being alone "i'm trying to clear my head" or whatever

I think this is my first proper FR, be nice lads

Girl wants somone single not somone thats in a pseudo relationship, yeh it shows you can get a girlfriend and is in demand.

when you start to escalate with her she can start shit testing you with...but youve got a girlfriend etc

I think you realise this was a missed opportunity as you waited for her to make the move. Taking action is the only advice you need here.

Good luck kiss closing a girl after getting her opinion on that! Try some more simple openers instead. You are digging yourself a hole with these stories you've concocted. Perhaps try something situational, and related to real life this time.

It's something that actually happened to me and i originally used it as an "opener" when i was in a bar with some guys friends and I got that text while I was there. I just went over and asked this 3 set about it simply becuase i wanted another opinion and they were all really receptive.
I find it's a good one becuase it's a DHV and it is sort of situational if i say i just got this text or something.

What, even after you've escalated to a kiss close?

Regardless, you are still rehashing something that once happened because you think it gives you a lesser chance of 'rejection'. You needn't dig this hole for yourself.

I'd try simplifying things. It'll genuinely make your life easier as you can get onto talking about the REAL you, without bending the truth.

I often only use opinion openers when i've got bad approach anxiety because it makes it a lot easier to open.
If i've been out a while and approached a few sets i get in my stride and just say whatever comes to mind
