Default What a Night! - 31-10-2010, 05:25 PM

Okay so a girl I gamed at a party a few weeks ago txt me an invite on friday to go to her own party THAT night - halloween fancy dress.
She is an hour and ten minutes away and told me and said I "could crash on her couch if I'm 'nice' " (not try to sleep with her). yeah right.

This is a new one for me as I've never travelled that distance to see a girl that wasn't my girlfriend because A. I thought I'd be jumping through a very big hoop going all the way there B. I'd have limited social proof at her party C. I'd be pissed if nothing happened.
So I decided to go for it this once because I'd heard Adam Lyons say providing that the girl already likes you, solving a logistical problem Isn't really lowering you're value.. Plus this girl was like a tall, tanned, blonde 9.

I drove about an hour and 20mins in the dark to her place stopping at tescos on the way for some alcohol and face paints (deliberately not making an effort with the costume). When I got there I said hi, hugged her and immediately started completing the social proof by enjoying myself with her friends and little interaction with her. I think the only thing she said was that my costume wasnt scary which was returned by saying it was scarier than hers (she was dressed as an angel).
Skip a few drinks, one taxi, 2 clubs later and she was investing in me all night. I didnt even have to try, she was the one buying drinks, isolating, and made the first move on a make out. All I had to do was avoid her attempts at switching to serious convos.

This is where It gets interesting, we get back to hers via taxi to find her housemate is passed out cold in bed with a boyfriend(the only one with the house key), all our attempts at waking them up included a million doorbell rings and several bottles thrown at the window. I tried to climb up a drainpipe into an open window and fell flat on my ass. So we had no choice but to smash a window into her own house, which resulted in me cutting my hand open, her arguing with her housemate while I spill blood on the nice clean carpet. We both settled and comforted each other - my cut hand and her fallout with the housemate which eventually lead to full closing.

Moral of the story -
Bridging a logistical problem isn't necessarily lowering you're value
Ignore any statements along the lines of 'you can sleep on the couch/spare bed' or 'I'm not goin to sleep with you'. They will naturally say it to not come across as a slag.
Don't smash windows, it will cost £120 to replace, cheaper to get a hotel room.
