FR: Got slapped -

Thought I'd tell you about my Thursday night. It was real slow to start off with not a HB to be seen. Settled down to enjoy the night and just started talking to anyone and everyone just to warm myself up.
Fast forward to Velvet lounge. It was rock and metal night love that shit so I was in my element. I'm in a big group of people and just watch as my mates girlfriend brings over two HB9's and tries to introduce them to a couple of her mates. When I say tries, I mean both the guys clam up before resuming their conversation, the girls get bored and walk off. Not only that but one of the guys gets pissed off at my mates girlfriend for bringing them over. Chode. So the chode fucks off home and I talk to the other guy saying about he should go and talk to them. He refuses making up BS excuses so I tell him that if he's not going to talk to them then I will and not for him. He tells me to go ahead at which point I tell him that the worst thing that could possibly happen is that I could get slapped and infact I'm going to make her slap me. I walk over and say something like "Help me out girls. My mate thinks I'm too smooth to get slapped. You gotta slap me". She's like "Are you serious", I just nod. Then wham, I am not forgetting that slap in a hurry. I smile, thank them and walk off. I tell this guy about it and about how they were so compliant. Lets face it, generally the worst thing that happens to you in pick up is if you get slapped or a drink thrown on you - of course there are extremes but generally speaking this is true. This guy's mind is blown, not only did I get slapped but I'm smiling about it. 30 seconds later she's sat down next to me and started a conversation, I push pull then we go and dance for a bit. Some amog's try and spoil my shit but I deal with them expertly by diminshing their social status. They're throwing devil horns with their hands and we both agree that is so 1990's  I get a drink and head back to my mates for a bit while they go and smoke. I enjoy myself for a while and don't see the HB or her friend for an hour. I'm kicking myself for not #closing and go for a smoke. They are up there deep in conversation and as I walk past she pinches my arse. I don't know why at this point but it feels right to just keep on walking and see some more friends. I could justify this by going on about scarcity being attractive but to be honest I just went with my gut. A bit later on towards the end of the night I see her sat down as some guy chats up her mate. I walk in number close and leave. Later on one of the guys that I was with tells me she was looking for me for ages. Nice. I texted her today with "Hey slugger. My face still hurts, I think you hit me too hard. Only joking you hit like a girl <Lets meet for coffee, here and at this time>. I'll bring my boxing gloves."I'll let you guys know what happens. Rock n roll

We used to do this. It was like a challenge when I was at Uni. Not for a pick up, but just to boast to your mates. Funny shit.

After some awesome txt game. I have a day 2. This will be my first date in almost three years. It's only taken six months of game but I feel good about it. No expectations I'm just gonna go in, be my best self and see what happens.
