FR: The warm end of the pool

This field report is mainly just for shits and giggles. It's short because a whole lot of nothing happened on the night in terms of pick up. But here it is, a little example of how you can pull girls toward you purely through energy...

A little while ago me and a load of lads were out on a massive piss up. Swindon town fc were playing at wembley the next day which meant that being fans, our state was high and we were drinking heavily!

Doing a bit of a pub crawl we decide to hit Liquid pretty late on. On the walk there we spot a hobo playing a guitar, so we join him in a little sing song...



The reason I bring this up is because of something Tyler mentions in the Blueprint (that and one of the lads posted up the video on facebook and I thought it was hilarious). About the being in the warm end of the pool thing?

For those that haven't heard about this, in a nutshell it's where you have a group of guys having so much fun and creating so much energy that women become intrigued and approach the group to try and get in on the action. Kind of like when you're at a long dinner table and you're sitting at the end where nobody is really talking and the people at the other end are laughing and having a great time. You're looking over at that end of the table wanting to sit there and be part of the action. (If anyone wants to elaborate or correct me if I've got it wrong feel free to do so)

Anyways, the girls in the video who approached us and joined in with the singing ended up sticking with us the rest of the night. One of them I ended up kiss closing. Another one, for some bizarre drunken reason, I tried to kiss without building comfort or attraction. She pulled away "I'm not gunna kiss you". Genuinely confused by this I replied "but I'm PUA". lol

I know this isn't the greatest example of the warm end of the pool thing. But hey, it's the only one I've got on video.

It's the being watched rather than watching rule. Getting stuck in and enjoying yourself is like a magnet to people that want to have fun too.

We've all been there... "Man that group over there looks like they're having fun... I want to join in"

Or the other way round: you can use "looks like this is where all the fun is" and use that to open the set and join in the fun..!
