first attempt at sarging, what went wrong?
 

first ever try at sarging. i was totally unprepared so was kinda making it up as i went allong and remembered lines i had been planning to use -
Ok so we were in a nightclub that had the last standing people in. i was a bit worse for wear but finally got the courage to try and 'have a go'.
I pick out a target, it was two girls one was nice but her mate was truly awful. i approach from 2'o clock to the best looking one and asked her for some advice. some BS story i made up about my mate seeing his gf kissing another guy and should he stay with her etc etc.
here was the first problem, im a tall guy so had to sort of lean down so she could hear me. her fat stinking mate was now behind me as i had got between them to 'isolate' her. Ok so the nice girl was starting to get into it with me and then! her mate literally just interupted us and said "shes engaged, a bit of flirting is the best you will get out of her".
with that i decided just to end it.

Only good thing is now iv approached my first targets, i feel so much more confident now :) next weekend is bank holiday so that is gonna be where the magic happens ;)

You need to engage the friend, or get a wing to do it for you. If you isolate the target to early, her friend will get bored and want to take her away from you. Remember her friend is worth far more to her than you at this point.

Loke is right, you need to engage both the target and the obstacle.
Sounds like you did pretty good for a first time. If you find you're too tall and she can't hear you, speak up, you need both the girls to be able to hear you for the mentioned reason. If she can't hear you even when you're speaking loudly, try to make her come to you, just beckon her in when she says she can't hear you.

thanks for the replies people. i like the response from phil especially, give it some of that 'higher value' ;) i tried too get my mate to wing me but he bottled it because she was too minging for him to be seen talking to! mates eh!?

Tbh, if that was your first time sarging, it doesn't sound like anything went wrong, but sounds like you learned something valuable. Success!
Get a good wing though, and try and do approaches earlier on in the night. The earlier sets you should expect to go well, but do not be discouraged if they do not. They're just about getting you into state.
Next time try and make 5 approaches in a night. The first approach within 15 minutes of meeting up.

AND DO NOT JUST TALK TO THE GIRL U LIKE TALK TO EVERYONE ... if everyone loves u the one u like loves u too ;) ... and they will continue to talk of u when ur gone

if you were really impressed by phil's line, i'd suggest you do some improv or something... or just joke around with people more, cos that to me is such a standard response (not saying its weak or anything phil, i just think its something a normal person would say so im concerned someone is impressed by that).

yeah... make sure you engage the friend...

and even more so if the friend is a fatty..... fattys will always try and fuck it up for you

i carry spare ribs in my pocket to throw into a corner in such situations
