Major bitch shield (direct approach on mixed set)
 

Hi Guys,

I was in a night club and saw a mixed 4 set (3 girls 1 guy). Now I knew this guy was gay because I've seen him around before where he previously cock blocked one of my wings in the past.

I decided my best bet was to just open direct.

My target was facing her back to me hurderled up in a group. I pre-opened with "hey guys" whilst touching both the HB9 and gay guy's shoulder. No response, it was as if they didnt ever notice me. So I then repeated myself again louder grabing both of them. (this time they noticed me).

I cant remember my exact words because it wasnt a canned opener but is went something like this:

ME: "Hey guys, (then turned to the HB9) You are fucking gourgous I just had to come over and say hi.......I'm blah blah blah"

HB9: (No response)

ME: "You've got the kind look of a sensislbe person because you seemed
smartly dressed".

HB's female friend: "She doesnt talk, you have to talk to her through us"

Gay Guy: "her names is blah blah, she's easy do you want her number?"

ME: "oh ok, this is going to be simple"

Guy Guy: Shes practically a virgin, has only slept with one guy.

HB9: What!!!

HB9: I dont talk, you have to speak me though my friends

My wing then joins the set and starts talking to the gay guy to keep him away from me

ME: "oh you're one of those blonde girls with no brain who cant speak for herself".

I moved towards her friends for 5 secs then returned back towards her again saying:
"I just spoke to your friends who spoke on your behalf and they said you want to buy me a drink, I'll have a volka and coke please.....cheers"

HB9: No they didn't say that

ME: yes they did......ask them?

(She then asks them what they said)

Gay Guy: "Buy her a drink, she's worth it"

Me: "No"

Gay Guy: "you cheap scape"

ME: "Your friends cute but this is airport night, there's loads of hot girls out. It's going to take more than just good looks to impress me"

ME: (talking to HB9) "you know you dont talk much, you seem boring"

HB9 (no response)

ME: (turned towards gay guy, dude help me out, your doing a rubbish job at setting us up here."

Gay Guy: (undos a few buttons on my shirt to make me more attractive then asks he's female friends how do I look now).

At this point it doesnt seem to be going anywhere

She just didnt seemed to want to speak to me.
Any ideas on what I could have done to improved this interaction?

Wow man, im impressed by your lack of AA but that being said, as soon as you approached you made your intentions clear, you were there to hit on HB9, the rest of the group probably didn’t want to witness yet another guy try to chat there friend up so they started to fuck with you, make you the centre of their joke/game.

Im still learning myself but heres my opinion on what you could of done:

Possibly shear perseverance would of cracked that shell of her’s or got you totally blown out but she obviously wasn’t impressed.

I would of completely dismissed and ignored her, Entertained her friends, win them over, win her over.
Maybe hit her with a neg or two from time to time but the main priority would be to succeed in earning the rest of the sets approval, disarm the cockblocks.

And if that didn’t work you could of least number closed the powder puff, ;)

you should have dropped your 'chase' for hb9 as soon as she was being a bitch then instead just game everyone else in the group.

you were just enlarging her ego by continuously trying to talk to her regardless of the shitty banter/disqualifiers you were trying to throw at her "you're boring" blahblah. she doesn't care cos shes hot and knows it cos you opened with lots of compliments.

also i don't see you DHV much at all. if i were the friend, id find it funny fucking with you because you're not really bringing a lot to the table to actually even make me want to talk to you. you just seem intent on trying to bag HB9.

I do get AA, just occastionally I do some brave approaches out of curiosity to see what happens. The weird thing is I find day game less scary than night and dance game terrifying.

Dam your right, I should have ignored her back, spoke to her friends, won them over and then started talking to her again. I'll remember that in the future.

The interesting thing was the gay guy was kind of helping me. He seemed friendly, probably because he fancied me though lol.
When you've got gay guys in the set I personally think its best to just cut the bullshit and go direct.

I have started wondering if its worth having some gay friends so you can use them as pivets and have them introduce you to their hot female friends.

I may be wrong in saying this, but personally I dont think that many guys actually approach girls direct plus the advantage I have is I do this completely sober so it comes accross more authentic. Obviousy drunken direct would just be a waste of time.

I'm with Kowalski on that 1. I personally mostly sarge sober but to say drunk approaching is a waste of time is pretty far off. As has been said, you probably spent too much time focusing on the HB 9, too soon.

Sounds like the gay guy was friendly enough in set (whatever his motives!), you should maybe try using this to your advantage and working the entire group a bit better.

Having said this maybe she was genuinely just an idiot... Who knows, but a few things to consider for next time certainly.

These "brave approaches" are what it's all about. Having the balls to do it just takes you closer to closing the next HB 9 man!

Props for going direct man whilst sober but this line even when sober;

does not come across as genuine, how many drunk guys when they approach a girl say 'You're fucking gorgeous' or similar, ALOT!

To alot of girls swearing like that in your first sentence is a major DLV, it's not big and it's not clever and some people actually see it as a sign of a limited vocabulary and low intelligence. I'm not going to say this is the case with all girls but some.

I used to swear alot more in everyday conversation than I do now, and it wasn't until friends who were honest with me and told me how unattractive it was did I begin to watch my language.

direct club game is something ive been interested in ive only tried it a few times but daying stuff like ur gorgeous/cute/stunning doesnt seem to work especially if your drunk.. if i was sober i would make it clear that i was.."he listen i had to come over and say i love girls that were stripy dresses and i have to say you look absolutely gorgeous in it, u can trust my opinion as well cos im on the water tonight ;P(raise glass of water to her).

think that would work pretty well, but i dont think direct drunk would work very well unless u complemented the same as i did were your making a genuine compliment. I think doing this drunk would still get a good reaction im sure but i think if ur sober point that out and use it too ur advantage it would make you look alot more confident and get u extra points :D

This is very true. I had it in the past where girls have asked what i've been drinking and I replied "diet coke, I dont need alcohal to have fun" and they seemed impressed to see a guy who's not totally wasted talk to them.

Mind you, when I have a few drinks but to the point where i'm still in control of myself I have noticed I project a much better vibe and get next to no AA.
But at the cost of a hangover and expensive night out.

Ur very best bet in this situation, is to isolate the gay guy, befriend him (with clear intention. i.e so he knows ur str8) anythin just hows it goin mat eu havin a good night blah blah...

when you then say WHO U OUT WITH,,, u will be introduced to the group with warmth

this means u instantly become socially accepted :)

it is that easy guys.... do it all the time whether its a gay guy, str8 guy ugly girl etc
