Tinder date
 

Had a tinder date last night, was talking for two hours about anything and everything in a bar, she was laughing we were drinking all seemingly went well had two pints each, sat progressively next to her (she wasn't leaning in but didn't mind it), at the end of the date she doesn't want to arrange another date and I ask for a kiss at the end outside and was denied. I have had other successful closes but they are always with foreign girls. I've tried to think what some of my sticking points might be, as honestly we seemed to get on so well and she was about a 7.

These are what I thought of

Didn’t pull into 'quiet' place to have a kiss outside bar
I never asked at the end what she was doing that night and if she wanted to come back for wine (I try to judge from past experience)
I never said I had a steady job (although I have good savings and own property) and instead said that I was studying (it will bring a better job) (I am nearing 30)
Never talked about her dreams
I smoked before the date
I asked to leave before getting a third round of drinks (as had work next day)
I had a few facial spots
I didn’t pause enough in the convo to let her talk?
I look old?? (she was 23)
I didn’t compliment her during the date?
Didn’t have good second venue planned?
Haven’t been working out?
May have looked anxious/drunk?
Because I said I wasn’t sure if I was going to be staying in the current city we were in, or moving to another soon

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Guys, it strikes me it would be helpful for insecure guys if you could give OP some ideas what he could have done differently, things he could look out for etc.
Tips from the pros please!

It sounded like you were the "nice guy". Go in with the attitude that she needs to impress you. Spike her emotions, negatively and positively, keep it chill. Pass the shit tests. Show authority by leading the conversation, leading physically to the next bar etc. Don´t give her compliments (unless you genuinely mean it). Initiate physical touching. Stop physicality if she moves away or looks uncomfortable. Try again 5 minutes later. Repeat until she also starts being physical...
