Recent story from great (and strange) night..thoughts really appreciated

Story goes as follows. I m invited to a cool event with lots of HB8-9s. The deal was dinner for a couple of hours and after-party at London club

At dinner: really fit girl (8-9) with many looks on her by surrounding tables, sits next to me. I initiate very naturally, teasing, negging slightly, subtle touches here and there, so we got a great rhythm going on. After 30' another 2 girls sit close (quite lucky) so i start socialising with them a bit, always keeping an 'eye' on the one next to me. I take a first 'test' and invite her outside for a 'break'. She accepts without second thought, even stood up before i did. We keep a great talk going on with slight flirting etc..at this point i am the top of the game, thinking this will end well.

Back to the table, some more talk and then time to leave for the after-party. She asks me if i want to go with them. I think 'no rush', i ve set the groundwork, so i play it cool and tell her i ll wait for my friend and will catch you later, which i think annoyed her a bit. Reason i say 'annoyed her' is because she said 'OK but it was great meeting you, kisses me, walks off'..

..before i continue the story (at the club), really wanted thoughts and feedback on how you'd have handled it up to this point?

Thanks for the time to read and offer your opinion mate. I hate to say it but, retrospectively, I see your points and totally agree. I was being consumed on tactic rather than essence.

i think I also got into the stupid mindset that we have a long night ahead and thought best to go slow

As you might have already guessed, later on at the club things had already died off-she looked less interested, not able to talk much due to noise&area restrictions..etc..so basically game over.

as those chances dont appear too often, feeling quite low now

I would have went. You don't have to be a little pussy & jump around shouting yayyyy the hot girl asked me to the after party. Just go.

hahahaha..fair enough. i dont know wtf was going through my head. the words just came out of my mouth, then tried to rationalise so i thought i must have said it because i thought it would be good to appear 'chilled out' and go meet them later with my mate.

lesson learned

To be honest before this forum I would have done a similar thing, as it has worked in the past.

But since, I realised from the likes of the guys on here, I should be in less of a game mindset and doing things because its who i am. So agree with the comments.

thanks for the input..its quite funny sometimes, thinking that to be more successful you finally need to go back to who you are-no games; makes you wonder whats the point of the whole game 'mindset'.

As time goes by i find the whole 'game' thing is only there to show a more 'attractive' way to put yourself out there, but only up to the point where things are 'on'..after that it should be you&yourself
