...While on business travel

First post, quick story from business trip (awesome opportunity for chatting btw)

Lucky day. Wondering around city, then sat at a nice restaurant for a quick bite. A HB 8 sits next to me, alone, which is smth that's never happened before..Anyway, I smile to her and she said hello in German (which i have no clue how to speak). I say "english only, sorry", and she smiles again. Soon after that she gives an order. I turn to my right and go: "excellent choice of food". she looks at me straight away, and i go again: "just kidding, have no clue what you ordered actually" Starts laughing and we sat there for more than 1hour just chatting, never really ever clicked with anyone else that much. Mostly basic stuff with minor "funny-sexual comments" taking place and lots of jokes. I asked for advice for good places to visit or grab drinks etc... She then said she has to go for business meeting, and gives me her phone-we agree on drinks for the next day.

Time was pressing, as i only had 2 days in town, so i decided to txt early. She mentioned a pilot's licence when younger so i tried to fit that in the text so i went like " hey Captain! great meeting you today, hope business meeting is not too boring :) "

Although I was 110% we had an amazing talk, I never got a reply to my txt.

any guys willing to give any thoughts?

You've asked a rather open question with many, many possible answers
You may have taken down the wrong number by accident, she may have a boyfriend and felt guilty, she may have decided that she didn't have time, she may not have been attracted to you

I wouldn't dwell on what you cannot change.

Instead take the positives. You met an attractive woman with whom you chatted to. Take the things you did well, the things you liked about her and build on them with other girls and other situations until you're not phased by a girl not texting back.

ah thanks mate, guess you are absolutely right. Pick up/learn from the experience and just be glad about having a good time.
