FR: improv and a thursday night legend

Improv night

So, I decide to go along and see what all the fuss was about for this improv. I heard it was meant to be really good for sharping up the old sabre for a bit verbal fencing and more importantly it was laugh, and everyone left buzzing afterwards!!

I got into contact with Shahanahahs, said he would meet us first at the train station. First impressions was Shah is sound, he’s a funsized pua, got talking on the root march to find the wetherspoons to meet Jynx and Ally. The speed at which he was walking nearly cost our lives, he managed to walk me in front of not one but two taxis on the way over to meet jynx, it was like crossing the road with a lemming.

We finally got to the ‘spoons safely, and met both jynx and ally. Both were sound, jynx made a massive effort to make me feel welcome. I could tell this lad has skill, the conversation just poured out of him, as did the laughter and the jokes. From the ’spoons we had make a quick detour to Kowalski’s, I thought fucking hell am getting to meet a good few names tonight!

I didn’t really get to speak too much to Kowalski’s, which was a shame because he clearing has a presence. I could see he was a real dude and defo abides, all he was missing was the jelly sandals and the bathrobe, but that’s just like my opinion, man.. It was in Kowalski’s apartment where we met Wes (i don’t know if he posts on the forum). Wes was cool, he was like a cross between the joker and Robbie Williams, he has Robbie’s stoke accent and the joker’s hair.

So we get to lass o’gawrie, get a round in and straight away jynx is chatting the barmaid up, she was a fitty. With drinks in hand we head upstairs to the venue, and start the improv. Let me just tell you it was awesome, am talking literally side splittingly laughter, improv was boss, i recommend that everyone at least goes to it once and go and sarge afterwards. The time just flew by, after we had finished I was buzzing and really up for it.

F21 or factory i don’t know the name of the place but it was literally at the top of the road from the pub we were in, unfortunately the cue to get in was half a mile nearly up the road, so we went to 5th avenue instead.
We get in the cue, and it not long before we are in there, initially the place is empty, but soon fills up. Jynx is telling us all to just smash it and he is off, so shah both are in set in no time. I am looking round I need to open straight away, first few minutes I stumble, I walk on and off the dance, from one bar to the other just walking around. I had to snap myself out of it, then i saw it, the first set four girls standing on the dance floor. The littlest one had a blue flannel dress on, so i saw my opener (later i realised you don’t need an opener, it enough to just hey, how’s it going and the start talking)

Me: What’s happenin’ Dorothy Gale?
Her: OMG hahaha

I chatted back and forth, wasn’t really going anywhere, also these were my throw away set. So i moved on, I think it was at this point I saw jynx with a 2 set, there was a nice tall blonde and what would later become shah’s moby dick. I roll on over and run interference, have a good chat for a while, then jynx gives the signal to move on. Jynx is ubber efficient, he is in and out doesn’t waste time if he thinks a interaction is going stale. It was like watching the terminator, but instead of him going around the club blowing away random women named Sarah Connor with ruthless efficiency, he is twilling bitches, getting number and kisses left right and centre. Once he has terminated the target he is off for more.

I spend a shit load of time in set on my own, I don’t think I have ever opened as many ppl before as i did that night. It felt like I had gotten a million hugs, high fives and peeks on the cheek by the end of the night. I would be walking round then, bam I would be in there, the only problem was i didn’t manage to escalate past being someone sound and entertaining, only saw a few girls who I managed to build any real attraction with. One of which was the tall blondie I was in set with jynx, I happened to randomly bump into her and shah’s peril. I got speaking to the pair of them for a while, then shah appeared and started occupying moby (he did more than occupy her later, i think he mounted a full invasion ha). I was getting all the right signs, suddenly her and her boyfriend weren’t really together, her body language shifted, she was re-engaging conversation, blah blah. But then she turn weird, I mentioned something about how her and her mate should come to Liverpool (at the time i was gesturing with my phone), then she suddenly went cold and pissy, it was like she thought i was getting off or leaving her or something. Anyway this weird vibe keep on reappearing, which was no good, I from speaking to her I think she had major issue with her confidence and shit (this is where I reckon I put the nail in the coffin, as I had become her confidante, by build too much comfort).

Moving on, I had load of randoms grinding me at one point, there was three girls that I was chatting to, big tall blonde with boss tits, little blonde with glasses in a red dress and a very sexy looking brunette. I had the red dress grinding all over me, but somehow fucked it up, however, we were still having a good interaction. I managed to convince them the next time they saw me to go wild and hug me, which they did later jynx and i rocked pass. Again only hints of the attraction and which I couldn’t escalate from.

Later there was shit load of gear which went on, i could honest write 4 or 5 FRs from this night along, near the end of the night I winged Jynx(i actually spend shit load of time winging jynx and i think i did really good job like) so that he got a nice little D2 for tonight (fit as fuck, honestly jynx is the man). But right at the death of the night I got chatting to this really tall sexy brunnette with epic tits and the nicest smile i would love to cum across, she was just standing at the bar(which had closed). So, I rocked on over and asked whether she knew if they were still serving, and if they did could she buy me a drink, she laughed, then i just straight up and told her that i thought she was really hot and i had to speak to her. She had this really unusual knecklace/breastplate thing that just crown her tits perfectly, i comment on it, she then touched my chest and said she like my t-shirt i had on (i had a black shirt button half down over it), I unbutton it a touch and show her the design. We were vibbing really well, when this Gollum looking cat rocked up in my peripheral version, so i turned and immediately say hello and made nice, diffusing him nicely. He just wondered off on his own again, i continued flirting more and telling her how sexy she was, she was loving it. Then for no apparent reason I had to get off cause the night was done and i had to find jynx cause I was crashing with him in kowalski’s, instead of finger smashing the girl!!! Her imagine is now indelibly burned onto my retina to remind me to pull the fucking trigger and take a risk next time :-/

Lesson’s learnt

-in club land, a loud noise will do as an opener, so long as you follow up with some conversation and get everyone involved you can’t go wrong!

-bitches be unpredictable sometimes and can shift/change with the wind, (this lesson Jynx told me)

-Improv is awesome!!!!!!!

-Kowalski is the dude, what an absolute star letting me and jynx crash at his, I can only say he is a proper fella!

-Shah is a winner, I don’t think I have seen anyone with as much enthusiasm and drive to improve themselves as him, he is such a light heart guy and generally awesome to be around.

-Jynx is a Pick up machine, he literally is a living legend, I cant say I have seen someone open that many ppl, and close a big shit load of them in one night before.

-Manchester is a boss night, and being scouse is an awesome novelty that they all love out there!!
