OK, so I've pretty much done zero night game since being back on the scene except a couple of drunken nights at 42s with sapmi where I just chatted to Jaz about brewing beer.

Thurs 31st Jan

Last night, I met up with a couple of the dudes from the day game crew. We decided to rock out Ritz with its European student meat market night. Started off well and approached a few sets, winged each other pretty well going in to distract the friends. However something I need to get my head around is the speed at which things can happen in night game.

For instance, I approached this girl with amazing hair, and told her how awesome it was. She replied telling me she loved my hair, and proceeded to tell me she loved my jacket. So, I had IOIs thrown at me so it was 'on'. Her friends were also occupied by my wings. I escalated physically, but to be honest was still too fucking slow. Why couldn't I make out with her then and there? I had it in my head that I had to isolate her, or lead her away from her friends. Fuck that. In future I need to be getting involved as soon as that shit is ON... and it was on.

So, despite the night being full of cockblocks which pissed me off, I did countless approaches all of them being nice and direct. I need to learn how to handle the friends and more importantly get my wings to be more resilient (take one for the team)... I'm up for some more of this.

It's ok to take it slow. Making out in the club isn't important. What is important is that you make her comfortable enough for her to want to spend time with you in the club.

Makeouts in the club are over-rated. The goal is to have a girl in your arm, walking out of the club at the end of the night. The club itself is just a courtship area. This is more the case these days where you can get chucked out and banned for bathroom pulls (I got in trouble for this).

So, fun guy in the club, with no obvious agenda, girls will gravitate to you, even buying you drinks, because no other guys are like that! These are the guys that get there dicks wet.

So, relax in the club, talk to girls, don't feel you have to do anything impressive, even if she's giving you "IOIs". Some girls are naturally very flirty like that. If you get to make out with them, fine, but don't beat yourself up for it!

Now, last night, I think you did better than you thought, willing to wager 5pence on it (because I'm skint). I reckon you can piss all over night game like a massive pimp, within a few weeks, because of your day game successes.

Fri, Sat and Mon

Fri
Went out Fri with Shahanshah, K and Tom, then Darood rolled up. Hit Troff, great little place for nice beer, good tunes and good crowd. Chatted to the boys and a couple of Spanish girls K had crashing at his. Then we hit the floor for a bit and Shah points out a Chinese girl. I go over and roll with 'Hey I'm Ashley, who are you?' I take her hand and vibe from there.

After a couple of mins she wants to talk to her mate so I introduce myself to her. Both of them love me and I get free reign to isolate my girl. We chat about art and music and after a bit she offers to buy me an ale. We then grind a bit on the dancefloor, but she wouldn't let me make out with her, possibly as her friend was nearby. I probably should have taken that as a hint to drag her out the room for a bit! Anyway, she asks me for my number, and I set up D2 for Tues night.

Sat
I arranged to meet Shahanshah in Bluu bar. I'm there for 10 mins on my own, have a stroll around. I see a hot girl on her own. I introduce myself and we chat for a few mins, then she says she has to go and leaves the venue. Shahanshah turns up and we head to TV21's to meet some others. I open a girl, but she's with her boyfriend. Then a cute girl gives me a smile and I go over to introduce myself. We have a good laugh, and I get her number as I have to go home. Only stayed out an hour or so.

Mon
Head to a student night at Revolution Deansgate Locks. Man, not been here a while and now I remember why. The music was shocking, all the sets I opened rude, and even had a guy kick off on me for talking to his friend. I ended up fucking off home as I couldn't be bothered any more.

Good stuff man gotta start going out a few times a week myself.

Opening with 'Hi, my name is ****' and taking their hand works well so far. However, I need to work more on befriending groups to ensure they don't cockblock me out from the girl I'm hitting on.

Got this girl to drive down to Chorlton after work. Went for a couple of ales in a bar near my house, then I tell her I needed to nip back to the house for something. While there I use it as an opportunity to make out with her. We then roll back out to the local pub and have another ale. We rock back to mine and cook a shepherd's pie I'd prepared early. We eat that and then I bang her.
