eBay

Anyone got any tips for selling on eBay?

What to sell?

Adding Reserves?

Getting to the top of lists?

Anything that could help me maximise my sales.

Ive put on 2 items at the minute which are a Vintage Wax Barbour Jacket and a Blazer.

How doo the listing fees work?

ive set up a paypal account, does the money come straight from there if i add money too it?

Anything you want. If you have something that you think is worth a penny and you dont need it, look it up and see what other people are selling it for
Adding Reserves?
depends on what it is. It costs more to list something with a reserve. I usually dont list with a reserve but list for a long time

This is key to everything - make sure that you enter a detailed and accurate description and title. Se what other people are doing and match/better it. Included as many photos as you can without it charging you as it reassures people when they can read and accurate description and see pictures of features and defects

get your feedback up and post for 10 days. I find the best time to post is a Thursday night for 10 days. Sure you have to wait ages for the sale but you'll get more people looking at it and better bids

listing fees work by charging you for the post. They have free listing days but mainly it's dirt cheap they make it by charging you for pictures, extra titles, bumping your posts etc.

you have to link it properly but they should pay it straight into your paypal account and then you can choose which bank account to stuff it into from there. Paypal also charge a fee for handling the cash. They also usually old payments for 30days when you're a newbie to make sure that you post it etc. but after 2months they let it go straight out into your account

hope it helps

jynx go on gumtree(or any free ads sites) look for items to purchase check price against going rate on ebay if theres profit and going to collect is worth it. buy of gumtree sell on ebay.
I would probably stay away from electrical goods sometimes not worth the hassle.
