I would either ignore as Nova said (just change the subject to maintain your own interest, her's should follow assuming you're not boring) or throw it back and say "I have people like you for breakfast!" or something shitty that she can take the piss out of you for.

Just be consistent, it's no use 'toning things down' - just be whoever you are. Girls that don't like it are then filtered out.

Also, you'll often find sweet and innocent girls actually appreciate the cool, confident types. Opposites attract and all that, so don't be pussy-footing around them like all the other guys they've attracted in the past. Be the different one.
