Just did a quick calculation on a domain name I bought and have held for two years.

On roughly 15 quid a year, twice, there has been a 4723% increase in the value of this domain.

The domain in question is quite a catchy and snappy one. I'm not being biased when I say I believe it's worthy of being a big brand name. With the market in which it fits being the academic / intellectual / clever / but with a touch of comedy, built right in to the domain.

Whilst I'm not willing to let this particular domain go for £1500, it has given me serious food for thought.

I have two other domains on my roster. One is the .co.uk of the aforementioned domain, and another. Both have only increased by about 400/500% in comparison, but even that, if you had 100 domains doing the same thing, is not to be overlooked.

It should be clear by this point where I'm going with this.

I'm considering domain flipping as minimal time investment business.

EDIT: Why the fuck am I posting this here? These words would be better on a business forum.
