I was just wondering how many of you guys believe in the whole "true love" thing. I always held onto the idea throughout my life. But now as I have been undertaking a period of great personal and emotional growth and my personal study of attraction the ideas that I held of their being a "one" have been lost

Has Pua effected you in this way to?

well pu has made me realise that a man has the potential to attract any woman but that is in the short term, i think obviously anything long term two people should have good combatability, that is theyre personalities get along very well and there is an underlying factor that makes them more drawn to the person. I remember seeing a study in which it showed that apparently people can actually subconciously detect genetic matches for them through pheramones etc. so i think that based on our genetics and innate personality attributes there is someone out there that would be a great match and this could be true love..

i mean there are certain girls that although i see them as attractive like they could both be rated like there could a hb 8/9 and would def sleep with them but one of the girls that i am especially drawn to, like i get a deep feeling that they are better suited to me...if that makes any sense.. i think there is an innate ability in us to seek out a genetic match...

When a person goes through the "I can't breathe" feeling. That is one feeling of true love.

I dont believe in there being a specific 'one' that we are meant to be with.

But true love exists, not just in relationships with women but in many areas of life. If I am proved wrong then my life will seem pretty pointless!

No. I gave up on the idea of a "One True Love" before I started PUA. The reason I gave it up was because I had idealised something far too perfect which was beyond reality.
I believe now, there are people that you will meet which will change your idea of a "One True Love", and they will challenge you. So I can't say I believe in it, as the idea of it is something constantly changing.

If you do believe in it, I think PUA is the best practice, so that when you do meet the person of your dreams, you will be fully prepared for them.

I believe in true love, but it's no the one or anything like that. I've loved many girls, and I'm sure I'll love at least one more

I don't really understand the prefix 'True' love. That implies multiple degrees of love, which isn't really how I think of love. I see it as being more polar: you're either in love, or you're not. There isn't much in between. And whether its 'love' or 'true love' - they're one and the same for me.

As for the whole 'the one' thing - as I've said before, the concept that, out of 3,000,000,000 women on planet earth, there is one single girl out there that is 'the one' for you is frankly ridiculous. The chances of ever meeting, let alone approaching, attracting, seducing, marrying and sustaining a relationship with the one-in-three billion girl are so small they don't even bear thinking about.

That said, it goes without saying that some girls are more right for you than others. Just take some time finding one that is particularly right for you is all I'm saying.
