I've been commuting from Chester to Ormskirk for the last year and it's been costing me about £12/day in diesel (about £240/month). Pretty inefficient being the only one in the car.

I just rediscovered liftshare.com and created a profile. I should be able to get around £3+ per passenger per trip. In theory, it could fully cover my fuel costs, providing that I find someone who wants to go the same route.

Has anyone else used liftshare.com or any similar services?
